Do you guys dividend got withhold 30% for us tax when buying us stock with cimb?

i see, i thought if use malaysia platform then no need to have the 30% withholding of the dividend. then have to find way to manually claim it back

i think have to manually filled up form and send to US IRS to claim back, but you'll get the check from US IRS which are not acceptable by malaysia bank and not sure they send the check to oversea or not.

just submit the form to open account and was told will need one month

so my dealer confirm that dividend from local will debit to our bank account, while oversea will debit to share trading account. Seems like no way to debit dividend from local stock market into trading account, but at least no charges like nominee cds account.

finally got my account activated after almost 2 months

the interface is abit complicated. may i know which one will show how many cash I have in my Itrade account? is it at portfolio?

I see, this only appear when login using website, but not in the mobile app

Finally saw the money I transfer last Friday in my stock account now

but my trading limit still show "0", maybe need to wait for another 1-2 days

they have to check with back office on my opening account form, but still no new update since last Wednesday... a lot of issues with my account

trading limit stuck at RM0 even after the report summary show money already bank in few days

Already more than a week but issue of trading limit show zero still can not solve... Not sure what happened...

was told by my remiser that he has been sending email or call the back officer everyday but no reply on email and no pick up the phone...

no wonder my trading limit issue is not solved after 2 weeks.... how to get this escalate to get someone to solve my issue? I'm not expecting this kind of service experience from CGS-CIMB.... this is a very bad experience...

i ask my remisier to escalate and then it got settle within 30min... buta buta wait for 2 weeks..

i cannot login also...

anyone move to other brokerage already?
