Thanks guy for such clarification. I will have to call CIMB dealer tomorrow morning. I have attached the JPEG pic. Please take a look at the balance. I believe it is RM 512.89 instead of RM 612.89
*
the balance of RM512.89, is the trading limit you can keyin to buy...you can not keyin to buy more than that amount hmm.gif

Hey guys,

What is the interest rate given out by CIMB investment bank on unused money in the trust account?

When we purchase a stock, does the bank automatic deduct money from my trust account or do i need to click the pay at "T3" then click "pay" at the bottom page in the outstanding transaction ?
*
last time 3%, now not sure... since the rate is lower by bank negara yseterday but i think still higher than saving a\c

i think, yes, if u have sufficient fund the system will deduct for u automatically (in my case).... hmm.gif

Hi david83,

Understood that the brokage fee is 0.42% or RM28 whichever higher. I couldn't understand my balance which is short of RM 100.
*
as mentioned early, the balance in fact is just the trading limit....your actual balance u can view it under Report/Client Summary notworthy.gif

My account balance turned to RM1 again. This is the second time it happened again. I wonder does anyone experienced similar problem before ?

as I mentioned early, the balance is indicate you have RM1 trading limit to buy the stock or
in other words, you have no money with the account so you can not buy any stock, RM1 shall be the min amount
check your Report/Client Summary...to get the balance of your money
Am I right? rclxub.gif

I have a question regarding this ITrade brokerage system. A year before, I've subscribed to the CIMB Investment Banking through a dealer . So, I only need to pay minimum RM 12 since I'm using a trust fund (dunno what they called it, like sharing account). One disadvantage of the sytem is I don't have my own account, I have to called/sms them whenever I have to deposit money for shares. I also didn't have to do anything once my desired shares (buy) matched, where they will do everything for the settlement (T+3) even though there are a function to do the e-settlement in the ITrade system (I'm not allowed to use it  sweat.gif ).

What puzzled me is once I checked the ITrade system, my dealer name is difference from both person that doing all the job of the my settlement and manage the deposit money . The branch only have 2 person, so who is the other one? HQ?

My question is how much do they get when I'm using the ITrade? The dealer is difference person, and did the dealer in the branch get any divide profit? or only the dealer at the HQ person? or dealer means they get nothing, only remisier can share the brokerage profit?  hmm.gif

Just have a little doubt ..  notworthy.gif

Thank you ..

if the dealer hold the liscen, s/he may share the commission with company

Hi,

I have done few transactions using iTrade, all of which have been charged with minimum brokerage fee of RM28.
How to get lower brokerage fee of RM12? Do i need to specially apply to cimb?
Besides, my brokerage rate is 0.7%. Do I also need to apply to cimb in order to get 0.42%?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Regarding iTrade eSettlement, i find it rather frustrating to use. Yesterday i have two transactions due.
Balance in my trust account was enough to settle one transaction only.
Hence, i transferred credit from cimbClick to my trust acount using eDeposit.
However, balance of my trust account was not increased even though eDeposit status showed tat the transfer was indeed successful.
So i called up the dealer. In the end the dealer informed me she already helped me to settle the transactions. But, the story not ended here..

After market closed, i checked the settlement status through iTrade. The inquiry screen showed that my transaction was still outstanding and considered as OVERDUE PURCHASES, which means today the stocks will be forced sale.

I'm so confused now, i donno where the money that i transferred via eDeposit is gone... Balance of my trust account not increased, nor the transaction is paid...  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif
Haiz, i have to call up the dealer again later to find out what happened...  shakehead.gif  shakehead.gif  shakehead.gif

For me, this is a rather painful experience using iTrade, i couldn't get peace of mind whole day. The eSettlement and eDeposit seem not functioning well... My dealer repeatedly reminded me not to use eSettlement and eDeposit. Instead, I was advised that:
- i should call my dealer whenever i want to transfer money to trust account
- let the dealer settle my transactions on T+3
If everything must go through dealer, then what is the purpose of having eSettlement and eDeposit?  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif

u can ask for it to request the min brokerage fee of RM12 from your remisier

online trading u shall be able to entitle 30% discount i.e. 0.42%, but 0.3 or 0.2% also can get it if have certain vol

regarding the iTrade eSettlement, i would suggest u fill out a form to request them to settle ur T + 3 automatically (except ur contra losess)

That's odd. I don't seem to have that problem.
Try getting the latest version of Java. Maybe that will solve the problem.
Alternatively you could drop them an email.

uninstall the older version of Java if u have more than 1
