Are you using itrade? Can your system display GLD in NYSE exhange? My system cannot.
The SGX exchange can display ETFs listed in Singapore, but none could be found in NYSE.
Thanks!
Sorry can;t help you there, I have not activated I-Trade's international trading. But I found this info for you on why you cannot find the ETF's... it is listed on a sub exchange (like our mesdaq) in NYSE.The SGX exchange can display ETFs listed in Singapore, but none could be found in NYSE.
Thanks!

NYSE Arca, previously known as ArcaEx, an abbreviation of Archipelago Exchange, is a securities exchange which offers both stocks and options for trading. It is owned by NYSE Euronext, which merged (as NYSE Group) with Archipelago Holdings in a reverse merger on 2006-02-27. Most of the ETFs listed in the US market space are listed on NYSE Arca, which is the key reason why i*Trade@CIMB offers trading on NYSE Arca online.

So.. Itrade SG can trade at Acra, but Itrade MY cannot... :hmm:Your other option is to set up a trading account in the US with a local US broker for ETF purchase, look at US trading thread.
