So can trade ETF via NYSE Acra through Itrade MY? hmm.gif

Just go to Exchange select NYSE and you can trade anything that's listed there, likewise you can "switch" to other market like Singapore, HK, Nasdaq etc. the service is free

Ya, currently you may not able to trade ARCA counters from internet, however, you may call your Dealer / Remisier to place order for you.

REMNG, not sure if anyone at your side raise this to CIMB?
*
Yes they are looking at this, let's see 2012

Added on December 30, 2011, 4:23 pmat the moment for ARCA, order can be placed through phone, not online yet.

Do I need to fill up and submit any form to remisier after sold the share via itrade? The money will auto goes to my CIMB saving? Or remain in itrade trading account? hmm.gif
*
It will remain in the trust account earning 2.6% interest, if you want to withdraw it to your CIMB bank Ac just call or email your request to the dealer that handle your account

The big difference is that for CIMB trader, you need to pledge RM 10k in the saving account!
*
It is called Click Trader account, the brokerage is very low ie rm8.88 or 0.0388% whichever higher. However as said it need rm10k in account earmarked. Although there is a rm10k earmarked, if you have said rm50k then you can trade 40k, with good brokerage, if you trade a contract of rm20,000 the brokerage is rm8.88 only compare to rm84 normal online brokerage. The limitation is the rm10k earmarked, that applied to sell contract as well, else a normal online brokerage will be charged

I am also using iTrade. I find that for certain stocks iTrade gives very low multiple for trading. Does anyone else have the same problem?
*
Not sure what you mean by low multiple for trading, it is 3x your cash value in Ac for trading. Check with your dealer

I thought if you have stocks on-hand, that will give you a limit of 1x the previous day valuation.
*
It will follow the marginable counters list, whereby no value is given for certain stocks. For cash it is 3x, For stocks depend on stocks in portfolio

Thanks. Are there any restrictions on moving money overseas ? what about US taxes ?
*
It is a nominees Ac for purchase of foreign shares with Itrade thus there are no issue in fund moving, there are 6 markets in one single platform ie Bursa Malaysia, Non-Ringgit securities markets which include Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX), American Stock Exchange (AMEX), New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), NASDAQ and Hong Kong Stock Exchanges (HKEx).

The Ringgit you fund in trust could be used to buy in any of the six markets, when you sell then you can choose to maintain in the foreign currency and use that for future purchase. In the platform you can view the different currencies you have in trust at a glance. To cash out you need to convert to ringgit whenever you prefer. a prevailing exchange rate by CIMB Bank will be used on daily basis when you purchase/sell/cash out. You can also see all the different markets stocks hold in your portfolio, this will be good to monitor your total wealth in stocks

You will sign a non-Citizen form and you do not have to pay any tax for any foreign shares capital gain

Hope this help

Yes. I am charged RM1.00 too.
No way to avoid if you're a nominee account.
I have a direct CDS account with Jupiter and there's no charge for dividend. Maybe if you get a direct CDS account with CIMB, then maybe no charge too. I am not sure about this.
*
There is a small nominal charge for nominee' ac, for Direct CDS or personal name CDS ac there will be NO charge for credit of dividend
