Brother Ng, this is new to me, how to choose it? At the selling screen or need to inform dealer. (my client always inform me if they do not want to convert) That's why I want to find out if any other way?
*
Bro Vinc

On T + 1 of sales, just send an email to foreign shares Dept to request to maintain in foreign currency, else it will be converted to Ringgit

Bro Ng,
I noticed the email received quote something like below:
Availability to select trade settlements in MYR or Foreign Traded Currencies at the point of trade execution on the order pad. No subsequent call-in to Dealer’s Representatives/ Central Dealing Team/ Call Centre is needed to instruct settlement currency of choice

Mean the latest iTrade having the enhancement feature after 1 Aug 2011. Let wait and see.
*
Yes Bro as per Bro David83 stated, clients already received the email on the single platform on 6 markets. Just follow the steps from 30/7/2011 onwards.

when is the time should we key in our order for trading? I mean in order to be the 1st one to queue . 12 am (midnight) or 8.30 am?

Many thanks smile.gif
*
you can key in order anytime but order keyed in before 8.30am will be by random, dont have much advantage

This is always a sensitive issue, however, customer has the last say.

Just deal with the existing Dealer's Rep or Remisier discreetly, then it should be fine

if want to open a direct CDS trading account (non nominee ones),i cant do it at any CIMB bank branches rite? have to go to tropicana city mall?
- it is better to meet at Tropicana city office, whereby an online trading Ac( I*trade ) can be set up and view online price on the spot
how long would it take to transfer my share from another broker to
- once Ac is opened, the shares could be trf within 1 day
and lastly how long would it take from opening of account to getting the userid & password for online trading?
thanks
- user id and password to view online price on the spot, trading Ac activated in 2-3 days

Hope this help

Please advise me, is it good to trade via i*trade? I didn't never ever tried it though I'm trading stocks from 2 years.
*
You mean trading online with I*trade? That means you enjoy lower brokerage rate rm12 or 0.42% whichever lower, also you have the full control of keying in the order yourself. The brokerage rate could be negotiated lower if your trading volume and trading records are good

Thanks

If you have submitted the e-dividend form, if there is a dividend entitlement, you will receive the dividend directly credited to your bank Ac, you will receive notice of the credit:

1) to your email

2) a mail notice to your mailing address

What do u guys think of HLeB vs CIMB iTrade? Which one is better in terms of their trading tools/features?
*
Both using different platform, HLeB using ExcelF and CIMB using N2N, depend on your preference, now CIMB can view SIX markets on one platform

It all depends on individual

Few difference between Maybank and iTrade that makes me prefer iTrade.

1. GTD Orders
2. Q orders after 5 instead of 6 ( Maybank ).
3. Java and iPad, iPhone and android version.

What makes Maybank better

1. Company news & announcements. Nice compilation instead of everything go to Bursa website.
*
rclxms.gif yes depend on what is your priorities, different company or platform that suit your criterias

Best regards

A newbie here, have some questions.
I currently have a CIMB saving account, do I still need trust account?
What is the minimum charge for me to buy a stock? RM12? How about RM8.88?
can I get the data of D/E, ROE and ROTA in cimb itrade?
Thanks for sifu to answer my noob questions =)
*
Shares trading a/c in CIMB Securities

Banking ac in CIMB Bank

8.88 is a cash upfront ac with rm10000 earmarked, no interest given and the normal itrade ac is rm12 or 0.42% whichever higher. Most important thing is trading profit, if you can't trade to make profit regardless how low is the brokerage or even zero brokerage it is still pointless.

Do the necessary survey, select a broker to trade or invest then focus on trading and making profit

oh...really?? i thought after they implemented the new system.......in Aug....the ratio on the limit for local & foreign is no longer applicable?

weird...
*
Yes with the Six markets in one trading platform the limit will be for ALL markets, no ratio. Meaning you can utilise the limit on One or Few markets without problem as long as it doesn't breach that total limit

I am new to this trading and I've got a question. On the limit tab where you can chose the length of time for trading, I've only got "Day" and "GTD" option. Is this the only option or am i doing something wrong? If possible can anyone pls explain what these two option is?
*
"day" means your order is valid for the day ie from 9.30am to 5.00pm

"GTD" means Good Till Date, your order will be on until the date you specify or until done, whichever come first

i got the same situation as you kudin. Remng, is it normal or is there a fix?
*
With the Six market in one platform now the Bursa Malaysia can see top 50 in volume, by Name you can see all stocks in that chosen alphabet, so far still can't revert back to the previous set up, you could call the customer service 03-20849890 to reflect your preference see whetehr that was the prefered style by most users

If you are Itrade client, you can go to "other Service" tick Non Ringgit then agree on the terms and conditions. you will be able to view and trade all Six Markets after that
