I filled all the application forms on Mar 25, and even open a cross border trading at the same time, until today still no news, isn't it weird? Called to Tropicana Mall branch, no one pick up phone...eh!

rclxub.gif yes can see 16 rows in the screen because the order screen at left hand corner and best buy/sell at right corner, just click the arrow at the right for another 4 counters to see top 20, still not good enough?

I think you have a different rate if value above RM 100K (0.3x%) and again another rate above RM500K... and so on

Added on May 23, 2011, 9:25 pm

Which arrow are you talking about . I still couldn't find the arrow
*
The rate is negotiable, however it is depend on a few factors to enjoy lower rates, like trading volume, risk of trade etc.

I thought the so call arrow is easily seen there (see attached), emmm look like I need to do a tutorial for operating itrade effectively for my clients.....

I'm wondering, is the fee of itrade cheaper than maybank?
*
I do think comm rate is very important, however looking through experience those who makes money focus on their trading and spend a lot of time looking for good set up for entry and exit, I think that's the ultimate goal to involve in shares trading

All the best in your trading/investing journey

Here the draft calculation if you buy RM5,000, assume you are using CIMB iTrade Account with brokerage of 0.42% or minimum RM12:
Contract Value: RM5,000
Brokerage       : RM21.00
Clearing fee     : RM1.50
Stamp             : RM5.00

Hence total amount need to pay is RM5,027.50
Hope this will help.

QUOTE(cadmus @ Jun 21 2011, 09:35 AM)
Hi,

Need advice on cimb itrade.

I currently have some money in itrade@cimb . Been paying the 0.42% per transaction cost all this while.

I want to use the cimb click traders acc . ie rm8.88 per transaction.

How do i proceed from here?
Do i request itrade to transfer the money to my cimb savings account, then from there, i enter the "click traders" and edeposit through that?

appreciate your help.
*
Just get in touch with the dealer/Remisier that handle your account, open the click trader Ac ( different from the itrade Ac) these 2 Ac will be on the same trading platform, after that is done you can request to trf the fund from itrade to click trader Ac . For Clicks Trader Ac you don't do eDeposit, just do an Internet banking trf in CIMBclick then it will link to your trading in I*trade@CIMB

Hope this help

Can anyone tell me is that I must go to CIMB i*Trade@CIMB Broker branch to open their CDS account also also online trading accounts?
*
It is better to meet up at the office and set the online trading Ac and sign all the necessary forms, just bring IC and bank statement or passbook for e-dividend purposes

Pm for more info

I thought someone mentioned in the forum, that the click traders 8.88 promotion is going to be phased out soon?  hmm.gif
*
Not phased out just re-launched, now is rm8.88 or 0.0388% whichever higher, eg if the contract amount is rm23,000 and below still pay rm 8.88 but if the contract is say rm100k then the commission will be rm38.80

quite disappointed with withdrawals from cimb.. 3 to 4 working days processing.. but on 2nd working day the amount removed from my trust account and 3rd day still not in my bloody bank acc!!!!!!
*
This is really unlikely, did you check with the person concerned.

Withdrawal process in CIMB Securities is very straight forward:

withdrawal before 10am the fund will be in your CIMB bank ac on the same day ( by 5Pm ), for other bank, request for check and just bank in to your bank ac ( the check will be out the next working day)

can any sifu explain why the net transaction fee in the lower right "buy" panel show the brokerage fee as 0.7% ?   icon_question.gif

that's default rate for indication only on the total contract amount, the actual contract notes sent to u will be the correct rates

It's just a game, there are no 'actual' buyers and sellers, so the program cannot execute properly. Also all instructions are not routed to Bursa. laugh.gif

The real thing so far have no issues to buy/sell whatsoever.  laugh.gif

Itrade Upgrade and maintenance to cater for more and more online users, there was some hiccup this morning but after exit and restart, then log in again it is normal now.

Lately quite a lot of brokers having slow log in problem due to the above reasons.

Just bear with it for a while, everything will be fine
