Of course FF7 Aerith killed by Sephrioth is one of it.
So sad..... as Aerith have a very sad background and it happen.

Another one will be Xenosaga III ending. The end of the game and sad ending too. I like that a lot.

GOW 2's ending. U don't know how pissed I was to know about the cliffhanger ending.

Too many, hence i list down a bit:-

1) FF7 Aerith being killed by Sephrioth. During that time it is so shocking and even a lot of rumuors on how to revive her at the end of the game. Nobody expect the main character will be killed

2) FFX Tidus dissapear and go back to his world. Again the main character has to left which made the ending so sad..(pls dont count FFX-2 ending, that one just totally spoiled the great storyline of FFX)

3) Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater - the part when Naked Snake discover the fact that The Boss is sacrified for the country, even being label as traitor by everybody, and Naked Snake just salute in front of The Boss's grave for her patroitism.

and more to come...

my most memorable moment is playing my NES without shirt on, and aiming the fan to it as once its hot, my NES would actually hang so have to put the fan towards it all the time..

Gears of War, when any masked and helmet troop gets killed. only those who dont wear were alive. lulz

final fantasy 8(ps1)..the ending is so00oo fullfilling~~ ahh..the memory~

agree with SeanWong - the part which solid snake salute the boss..

chrono cross(ps1) - that game is the reason i liked jrpg so much!

harvest moon(ps1) - i dont know..the game is very addictive until now..

and.. kingdom heart - damn cliffhanger ending..lol..

Should be Naked Snake a.k.a. Big Boss

Ah and i forgot to include Chrono Trigger (SFC) - which the game consists of around 19 multiple ending, it is so worth to replay the game just to digg out how many ending it have The game is just simply classic!

Wesker returning in RE: Code Veronica... RE series announced as Nintendo exclusive was monumental for me, it would take five long years before i get to play REmake and RE0 on my Wii to see what all the fuss is about.

DMC4 announced as multi-platform was another big one, but as it turns out the game was great so all is forgiven.

Of all the MGS series, I can't control my emotion but cried on every Otacon's scene.

MGS2's Otacon scene is the most touching part. I remember holding my tears but, when it comes to the part where Snake gave him back the strength to fight Arsenal Gear.. ehem.. rescue the hostages, dang! It was the best part. Tears literally rolled down my cheeks!

hurm.. when i realized final fantasy is going multiplatform is kinda shock too... i cant believe it until i read from 5 different source...

owh..and after spm, i buy GEMPAK mag and i get the free ragnarok mmorpg beta.. haha.. 3month of holiday well spent.. =P

and when i first touch my ps3...hehe..kinda nostalgic..1 year of savings..

should be in console couch,since you're talking about games in general

FF7 was the biggest shock. ever. you've already grown attached to her sweetness, and BAMMM!!!

FF Crisis Core was also difficult, cause you fall back in love with aeris and know she will die later.... sigh

CC also memorable cause of the video after the ending was a surprise, and gives you a glimmer of hope of something to come...

facing RROD for the first time..feel like forgot to wear pants at workplace... all blood went upstair

Recent one was:

1) Lost Odyssey: Disc 1, where Jansen was drunk and make his funny jokes with the chicks in front of Kaim and gang. Priceless expression
2) Lost Odyssey: Disc 1, when Kaim's daughter die. I cried along.
2) MGS4: Where the phyco mantis says: Put down your controller.....

Classic ones:
1) Final Fantasy 8: Squall and Rinoa romance moments, especially in the Ragnarok.
2) Final Fantasy 10: When Tidus tries to hug Yuna and jump down from the airship.
3) When RROD shows up on my Xbox 360. Unforgettable moment...

For me ...
Always liked the FFVIII Squall and Rinoa moments..
12pm on 20th of September when I got the 20th Position in line getting my FIRST console ever and RM 500 Voucher (Last Person) too!

mgs4: change the disk part...total hilarious!

when i played Parasite Eve 2.The set and storyline is so good that i keep replay the game.
the ending of FF8,FF9,FF10 and of course chrono-cross.

Hmmm lesseee.

My notable firsts:

First time running into a Cyber Demon in Doom.
Dying in less than 3 minutes in the ORIGINAL Prince of Persia.
Learning how to roll in Crusader: No Regret.

More recently:
Critical sneak attack on a Super Mutant in Fallout 3.

mine's not the ending but the moment . . .

was playing like DQ8 for 7 hours and didn't save, trip the cable and puff black out . . .

was like WTF

MMmmmm.... For me.

1. When SEGA announced Katana (DreamCast code name), while i just bought my Saturn for less than 1 year. Also when SEGA announced that they will kill DreamCast, that time my DreamCast is also less than 1 year old. FXXX U SEGA!!!!!!

2. When rumours that Microsoft will develop a console turned out to be true. (I tot SONY NINTENDO will goes the Netscape way )

3. When Nintendo Wii turned out to sell well. I expect Nintendo to goes the SEGA's way after this gen. But seems like Iwata pulled a rabbit out of that dead hat.

4. When I first played Chrono Trigger on SNES. That Love lasted from that very day, until this very moment. I am so gonna buy the DS remake!!!!!

hearing a female gamer's laughter over VoIP for the first time in GTA IV. That beats any defining single player moment in videogames. period.

1st game played on real NES mario 2 or something with luigi , the princess , the small mushroom guy at my cousin's house.

6, MGS4 1st Raiden Cutscene
7, silent hill 1 final boss fight
8, god of war 1 and 2, woooo hoooo.. scenes
9, getting killed in CS by my fren
10, 1st time leaver in DOTA.. ( IDK dota @ tt time)

Claire run like hell from helicopter bullet chase scene in RE:CV..badass

Beat Omega Weapon in FF12...forgot how long I beat up this guy, dead, revive option seems like endless

Accidentally obtain Sora Final Form in KH2

the first silent hill near the beginning where you are cornered by those demons in the alley only to realised that you're trapped.... your controller starts to rumble like crazy when they reach you and eventually you wake up and realised it's all a dream.

probably still the single best horror moment in any game for me.

i dunno why, silent hill 1 is still the best of all 6 series.. just that silent hill is the 2nd best.. IMO.. i havent try SH5

Playing the famous TIE Fighter game where I fly with Darth Vader and the background music that was playing is Imperial March. That track educated me that this game is related to Star Wars, a movie I loved during kids days... and I became a super fan ever since.

Have u heard of UFO? Cyclone?
U can also get RM5 games on SNES and MegaDrive la,
all u need is a Taiwan made add-on on top of your SNES and MD,
they convert game cartridge into diskettes.

the barrel of death on Sonic 3 Casino Stage 3 Act 2

Anyone remembered the game 'Mafia', originally on the PC and then ported to PS2. Awesome game. Its GTA style only that you had to obey all the traffic rules if not the coppers will chase you.

However you played, however good you are....you will die at the end because you are a mobster. You finish the game by leaving the mobster way of life, living under a witness protection programme with your wife and children..then a cut scene showing you gardening and couple of seconds later, your old friends from the mafia suddenly appear to gun you down. you die...game over...Most dramatic end to a game ever.

That's the classic Konami code you are most familiar with. The 1st Contra used that cheat code, to enable 30 lives. Super Contra's code was a shake up from the normal. Instead of beginning with Up, it started with Right. The full code is Right, Left, Down, Up, A, B, Start. This enables the 10 lives code. Quick! Who knows the cheat code for TMNT The Arcade Game?

First time play the Shadow of Colossus, at first stage, The first colossus really give me a shock, why so early came out a big giant, , this giant is not the biggest one but i always remember this one, maybe this is the first one.

If talked about the whole game. I think i will say Crisis Core. A very nice story and sad one... i damn sad with the ending...

1. when i first play on gamecube's resident evil part 1 remake... the whole game make me goes (and keep asking myself how did gamecube produce such a great graphic)

2. again when i first play the STARWARS's rogue leader on gamecube... flying near to the real size Star Destroyer is like...

3. Third is again STARWARS's rebel strike on gamecube... crusin through the endor forest level on a speeder bike...

4. Gunstar heroes on Sega 16bit megadrive... the game is just great from start till end... forever a masterpiece.

5. N64 STARWARS's Racer based on episode1 pod racing... the sense of speed is OUT OF THIS WORLD during that time

6. Super NES's Alien 3... the overall lighting effect and mood of the game.. really can feel the tense! (sweat my hand a lot)

7. Super NES's DonkeyKong Country... i got so shock when first enter the UNDERWATER level..(WOW WOW WOW is all in my mind)

8. PS2's Gran turismo 3... when i first experience the graphic of the car model and control, made me tears...(giant leap from PS1 pixelated model)

Yes PE2 was pure awesome stuff. After you get the Gunblade the game just kept getting better and better!

The first fatality move i pulled for Scorpion in Mortal Kombat for Sega Megadrive. That was so awesome with blood dripping and splashing all over!! (SNES version for MK was without blood..)

Back in the old days when Final Fantasy 7 "Aerith Gainsborough" died in the FMV. I named it on my fav's niece and i just can't stop crying. seeing they buried her, i'm been thinking i have to fight all alone . it just feel so real.

Theres so many but i cant recall all of em...
Double dragon - i finally save the girl and suddenly bad guy come and beat me up and kidnap the girl back and i was like wtf.
Contra - couldnt believe how freakin hard the game is
Resident evil 3 - the suprise attack and chasing of the nemesis
Super mario world - love the colorful level and 8 bit music
Shadow of colossus - i hope theres part 2 because the game is awesome,always epic
Dark cloud 2 - the only rpg i love and beaten

Yeah missed those time, where SNES and Sega Megadrive will have the same gamee, but each will have slight differences, such as the above. Hehe Sega

version is much more fun, although the character size is a bit smaller i think compared to SNES. "Frosty!"

Princess Peach gets kidnapped in every mario game..lol.. hw many times does mario haf to save her..haha..

and the mother of all unforgetable moments..goin all d way in the original NES mario only to be told that the princess is in another castle..ARGHHH!

Granado Espada mmorpg, where you make friends, build your faction and fight.... pretty good 1/2 years memorable experience
All blizzard games which serve more than addictive gameplay....

i just replay this game last weekend! the ending is pretty nice it leaves u in a bit of suspense but yet managed to resolve most of the important issues (like regina making it back to her own time).

but yeah, the first time i finished it back then i was like WTF? well at least Capcom clear it up in Dino Stalker (Gun Survivor3) that paula did make it out of there alive.

Could I say Yakuza 2? The final battle's scene was epic to me.

but seriously i thought the story/writing in yakuza 2 was good, i was a little worried that they won't have anything new to write about since most of the principal leads were killed off in the first. boy was i wrong...

The most unforgettable moment for me was first playing the underwater level in Donkey Kong Country on the SNES.The graphics and level music blew me away(still does).

The most unforgettable in video games for me is Rainbow island from SEGA Saturn
And Paperboy

for me, Uncharted:Drake of Fortune.

The part when Drakes want to open the gate in the old castle, yelling to the guard & say
"SIALAN LO!!! CEPATAN BUKA PINTU!!"

the other part when the culprit piss of at the Drake and say
"TAI KAMU!!!" and sometimes "TAI KUCHING!!"

at that time i say WTF?

The ending of Bioshock... cause i was like... that was a hell of a ride.. what an adventure!
