QUOTE(apisgogo @ Dec 2 2008, 09:35 AM) okay... i don't care what kind of tax or lame excuses they are using to bump up prices of BD. as long as there are people selling BD cheaper then them, i will never buy anything from them ever! they can close shop and go bankrupt for all i care.speedy sells Iron-man 159.00. we take price frm amazon as reference. 25.99USD (let say this is distributors cost, since the retail price is 39.99) plus DHL shipping let say USD 8 per title. plus Customs duty 30% + 10% (importing in legal way) = 13.60 Total = 47.59USD x 3.65 = 173.70MYR the cost above doesn't include, import permit license, customs declaration for imported commercial fees and stuffs... and i think for commercial retails is justified. now we so used to buying direct, avoid customs and all, thats y we can get better price. blame currency exchange, and tax.. |

QUOTE(alexwlh @ Dec 3 2008, 01:32 AM) My BDR Movie Reach Alex, why are you trying to show off your pirate movies here? I took one look at that smurf on the box sticker and I can tell this is some cheap pirate BD-rip. I don't even want to put that kind of disc into my PS3 and regret about it later. So far 2 title only but too bad.. 300 only Dolby Digital no True HD BDR is Black color |

PS2 lens is just a normal DVD lens. It's not as sensitive as the BD lens on your PS3. So if you want to risk it, then be my guest and don't come crying to us when your PS3 lens die in your face.

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Dec 4 2008, 11:06 AM) I think you hit it on the nail there. I think those movies avid fans do need to be educated that unfortunately for the filthy pirates, a blank BD costs around RM60-RM70. so who in their right mind would want to pay RM85 for their so called "grade 1" fake BD? I rather pay a little bit more for originals then buy their stupid fakes. "grade 1" BDs my foot!those so called hi-def fakes are really nothing more than regular DVDs with fake BD case. Why pay more for it? If they wanted pay more for better quality fakes to view on their new (& original) BD player.. they might as well get the original BD at the same price. Shessh..RM85.. for a fake Blu. This is crazy! The buyers must be stupid. The Jack Sparrows must be having hellavua day ripping them off. This post has been edited by nwk: Dec 4 2008, 11:42 AM |

QUOTE(megatron007 @ Dec 20 2008, 10:53 PM) I also just finished TDK. Only thing I dun like is the way the aspect ratio kept on changing during the action scenes. Also I think TDK has a very lousy setup menu. When I first played the movie, I was expecting a very nice menu like Iron Man to come out. Instead the movie just played automatically and you have to access the menu manually. Other then that, TDK is a must own Blu-Ray title for anyone who have a PS3 or Blu-Ray player. |
