Yeah... I know those items sent by preferred merchant is not subject to VAT but even items dispatch by Amazon UK also did not have VAT discount even after I check out. Weird... I already email them about this. Waiting for their reply now...

Example like Superbad, which is dispatched by Amazon UK... even at final confirmation screen it still shows 14.98... very frustrated now, I wanted to buy Band of Brothers but because of the VAT bug I decided to hold on first.

Really ar? Then there could be a glitch to the system, they should never impose the VAT for us. Just wait for their reply then.

Note to everyone, if the item is "Dispatched from and sold by Amazon.co.uk" but the VAT is not discounted at checkout, do place the order.

Also, VAT will be lowered from 17.5% to 15% on December 1st. How do this affect us? None. The only difference is the price with VAT will be a bit cheaper, but when we checkout we'll get the same discounted price as before. Our price is always the same without VAT. biggrin.gif

It does seem like a bug. This could be happening to all titles. Everyone should refrain from ordering from Amazon UK now until this issue is rectified.

Someone pls tell me whether The Thing UK version is region free or not... UK version is BD50 with all the missing supplements.

Btw, there is a guy said he got to track his items through standard shipment from Amazon UK. I didn't get any tracking for my BoB. cry.gif

Yeah, I think I better wait for confirmation first. However, there is a thread mentioned that the German release is region free.

Thanks.

Just received my "Sekumpulan Adik-Beradik". Nice packaging with cool metal case. Much better than Planet Earth package.

Ha ha! you gotta be kidding.

All those were around Rm30-rm45 only each if order from Amazon during their sale.

Got both Kill Bill 1 & 2 RM 110

Terminator 2 - Rm 36
Predators - RM 36
Total Recall - RM 36

You already said it, it is ONLY DURING SALES... no point critic other for their selling price.
