the one (and only time) i spoke to a PS3 tech support, the fella was commenting on the 60GB machine being more robust (including the components) than the newer ones.

from high-def digest on Wanted

"The Audio: Rating the Sound

It’s a rare treat when I’m forced to find time in the middle of the day to review a film simply because its audio presentation would otherwise wake up everyone in my house...."

thought i'd wake up the neighbors as well...

but...HK release is PCM 7.1 and DTS-HD MA 7.1

can see the influence of TDK in mega's comment....sounds like kelawar

why do they still label it as jet li's FINAL martial art epic?

he made quite a number of martial art films after this but....not sure if you'd consider those as epics.

funny my order from amazon US shipped on Nov 27 has not arrived....but orders shipped after this date has all arrived...as recent as the order shipped on Dec 5....guess the master and commander has really gone to the far side of the earth and made some eastern promises to get here...but distracted when they have Manilow performing Live on board.

not sure yet......i sold off my US set and waiting for my UK set to arrive.....one thing that is not on the US set is the behind the scene...which IMO are pretty good. the DVD has a behind the scene on how some of the scenes were shot after every episode. am not sure if this is included in the UK version.

DIY Self mounting? Wow.. I dunno what to say.. doh.gif
*
i DIY-ed mounting for both my Tvs and PJ and screen.....and I am no professional installer......just need to read the F.Manual. make sure the weight ratings are not exceeded and make sure get the right bolts and plugs and make the right sized holes......the difficult part is making sure the thing is level.

Added on December 22, 2008, 5:21 pmthink the 103" is a LCD...isnt it?

so far I've asked those sales personnel in the store...they said people who bought these TVs...70" and above...they buy them to show that they can afford it....know nuts about picture quality bla bla.
