My dear Irene (Isaac) threatened with a fake parang. I can’t help not to laugh every time I see this silly expression of Isaac.

I agree with Isaac’s recent display message on Windows Live Messenger.

“Maturity is having the restraint to not laugh at those who are less mature than you.”

This message is dedicated to someone I know, who thinks that he/she is so matured for his/her age. Then he/she goes telling others directly/indirectly that they are so childish, indicating they are lack of maturity when he/she is speaking and behaving in similar manners. Absolutely ‘a pot calling the kettle black’ scenario.

I really do not mind being called childish because I always admitted I am childish, in my own ways. I often let the carefree child in me get loose and run wild. After all, I am still 20 and probably won’t get to do it anymore once I graduate from University or when I hit 30s. However, when things are meant to be serious, I get down really serious which people seldom see.

Anyway, I dislike people who calls me childish is also childish. Hypocrisy, I say. You pretend to be matured by calling us childish and you do things that are childish (not once, twice but many times). Irony lies in your contradiction.

You judge others but what about yourself then? Think about it.

Most of the time, I do think of my flaws before pint-pointing other people’s flaws. Nobody is perfect, I held it true to my heart.

If only we have a picture of ourselves painted, just like Dorian Grey’s. That would be interesting. Because then we would be able to see our ‘true’ self. How ugly things can be…
