Guitars WTA, why les paul are so heavy

As stated, can i know why les paul is always heavier than other guitars(including EPI and GIBSON)?

sorry for the mistake.
It's because im tired and tomorrow is my final exam. If you mean by that, the heavy Les Paul guitar is actually making your shoulder tired because you are carrying it using the strap **yes, this is what i mean. sorry for my lousy english. Sorry. |

i see, thank you for you guys solution, can the leather strap solve the problem?
@blacktrix, what you mean by It's a small price to pay to get such a heavy, "lemak" tone. you mean the tone of les paul is weak or what? i see, what guitar you using? ibanez rg? hows the sound? not deep and thick tone as les paul?
