Just want to know which battery brand is the best in term of reliability and lifetime ? I have went to a few shops and majority of them selling different brand of battery. Which brand is the best from the list below ?

1. Century
2. Yokohama
3. Yuasa
4. Bosch
5. Watta

By the way, anyone know which shop in Penang selling the cheapest battery ?

Off topic abit.

If you can, find BatteryAid from AceHardware, but in Klang Valley only.

I tried it before and
It helps extends the life of a battery, provided it's not half spoilt also.

Hi guys, thanks for the feedback. I'm looking for the non-MF type because i know that MF will last 1.5 years the most. By the way, anyone ofyou using Watta battery ? My current car using it (original) and last for 3.5 years as of now. However, the mechanic told me the battery power is very weak now and need a replacement. Did you guys think with 60% power can still last for how long ? Regarding Yokohama, one of my friend who own a shop said it is not good and he recommends me to use Yuasa. Any comment ?

in my experience, 'maintenance free' batteries are a waste of money. they go flat without warning. the glass indicator doesn't even change color when its flat.... sad.gif they say the imported japanese 'maintenance free' batteries are better, but it will cost a lot and hard to find.

about the water type, better get those empty ones, and when u buy, they will fill in the water then plug into your car. for me, i prefer century and yokohama.

The Century NS60L MF battery is sitting in my Corolla EE80 for 3 years already, so far so good.

The car is equipped with VS & GC from EricTioh, not sure if they help extend battery lifespan.
