If i'm not mistaken she was early 20's, perhaps around 22, I can't be sure sorry. But i know she was pretty young. She looked it too.
Sigh.

I saw her orbituary in The Star today and it says she was 34, but she looked younger then 34. It's a pity a her life was cut short by an incurable disease. She was a gamer to the very end.

Rest in peace, Rachel.

Though I didn't know her but going through the old posts and looking at the youtube videos, I admire the fact that she always sounded positive - to the extend that she expected to be back mid November for gaming sessions but unfortunately, that was never to be.

Rest in Peace.

If you have any of her photos or mementos, her family would greatly appreciate it if you could bring them along to the wake/funeral. Thank you.

---

She was really looking forward to playing Fallout 3 (her CE arrived shortly before she went for her ops), LBP (might still be with Nelson, maybe someone should let him know she's passed on), Eternal Sonata and Valkyria Chronicles. She had wanted to start her Wii collection next year.

Yeah...even she said that on Fallout 3 thread. I thought she's on business trip since she only said she will be away from her PS3 for awhile. It's kinda sad to think a fellow gamers that manage to get Fallout 3 CE early passed away. I know she as excited as mine when i get my Fallout 3 CE Lunchbox

and to certain extent, she was right.....Bethesda screw up Fallout 3.

It's kinda hard to find a girl who love Fallout 1 & 2

and for LBP, she's the first person i play coop during the BETA. I had a good time laughing playing the beta...and im sure she also enjoy it as much as i am. Im gonna check back whether my Beta level still in the server...because i put a sticker of her sackgirl & my sackboy in it

i still remember all of us, including her, owned Muchi's butt during GTA4 MP session...we all communicated via VoIP and hunt Muchi down like a rat.

A very precious moment that all of us enjoyed every second of it

On behalf of PSZone, we would like to give our deepest condolences to the lost of a great and passionate gamer. notworthy.gif

I did promised Rachel her A4 LBP folder eventhough she is getting the R1 version and the A4 folder was only eligible for R3 pre-order customers. She told me that she will be back at the end of November, still keeping her LBP for her.

In any case, rest in peace.

Yup i also think should pass to her on her funeral. Since already reserved for her.
The way she informed everyone, she is full of confident and positive but is really sad as it happen.
If not mistaken got few forumer will go to her funeral. I think can ask them for help. At least this is the only last thing can be done for her.

Hey guys,

I am sorry to hear about a passing of your friend (whom I don't know of) and have seen The Star Oblituary (wrong spelling) on the page. It's sad to see someone we know and passes us by without a wink.

Although I don't know aphrael at all but have seen her post, reading from this thread makes me realize some of you known her have make memories with her.

Let not be the end of everything and enjoy what we do now and make the best of it in real life. My condolences to her and to all those who really know her by real name or her nick.
