AFAIK its better to OC with a discrete GC rather than using IGP. Less strain on your chipset, less heat produced = most likely higher OC

number 1 rule, use a discrete GFX in overclocking.
because the IGP will be affecting the NB's overclock, not to mention some mobo's PCIE frequency to the IGP is not locked and is floating hence, early instability. *Thread locked* |
