QUOTE(Calvin_PB @ Jan 31 2009, 03:38 AM) but it still nid driver to make setting, once settin make, then it store inside already.... so no nid driver.. even same wit razer.. Some Razer Mouse are fussy. Need drivers. Like the first time I plugged in the Lachesis. The cursor on my screen was shaking like nonsense. Typing words just made the cursor move like crazzzyyy!! |

I think the Lachesis needs a driver. For I remembered clearly how I pluged it in and tried to use it. The cursor won't stop vibrating. Even from typing. The cursor would move. Anyway, some say the SS Optical is better at tracking compared to the SS Laser. Grip wise, I changed overtime from palm to claw, FYI, I'm a low sense FPS player.

QUOTE(PhantomThief @ Feb 19 2009, 02:17 AM) It's weird though. I brought it to another CC and it worked perfectly fine. Not quite sure what's the reason. I stayed away from the Optical because the lift-off height was pretty scary. Don't think I could use it. Hmm, aren't most claw grippers high-sens? I use medium sens, I set my DPI to 2000 and my in-game sens to 1 in CS. Though a lot say the lift-off height is high, I don't really feel it. Well, personal preference I guess, kinda got used to claw. For CS, my sense would be around 1.8, 400 CPI, Windows 6. For CoD4, 1 in game, 800 CPI, Windows 6. |

QUOTE(G_KeN @ Feb 19 2009, 09:44 PM) I think thickness plays an important role here.. I can't exactly/scientifically tell u why but judging from my experience, thicker mousepad = smoother.. I own qck mass (thicker) and qck+ (thinner) and to me, both of them got very different 'feel', or maybe it's just me... Nah, I agree. I don't really like QcK+. 2mm is too thin. |

Has anyone here used the SteelSeries Fnatic edition? It has a major tracking problem with the Ikari Optical. I'm using 800CPI Windows 6 In-Game 1 for Call of Duty 4. And when I swing too fast, lets say I cover 70% of the mat, length wise, it'll track randomly. Few of my friend have tried it too. Any idea whats the problem? One of my friends said its how the mousepad was weaved together, how it was sewed. I thought it was the colour. Haha!
