nope, they arent... what Athene and the gang did is mob tagging and in this case manipulating the game mechanics... they are not abusing bug but using the game mechanics to their advantage, like levelling in instances (you know the exp are good and all) repeatedly and doing mob tagging...

some say its legal but some say its not

but the french dude do it all legal, /salute!

Do remember that elites will follow where-ever u go once u aggro'ed them, unless u run out of the instance.

Oh didn't know that doh.gif I thought this only applied inside dungeons.

But then wouldn't these mobs rape him if he aggrod so many ?

Is that fella a mage to frost them then mini teleport ? This is the only class i can tank if of that can handle that many mobs ;_; in a chain pull.

Athene's strategy apparently by using the azjol-nerub instances... one of the boss there (Anub'a rak if im not mistaken) spawn an elite adds that give handsome exp every tenth of a second or so... all they did is fight that boss all night long nad get exp...

just something i heard from trolling thou.

Oh it was inside an instance ... nice ...

So it was a group thing not a solo ? So has blizzard fixed this or something ?

Is there any requirement to go in that instance ? What level do you need to be ?

its a lvl 73-75 instances in dragonblight, his whole group already hit 79 if im not mistaken and then a GM appear and bam!! byeee... 10 hours later a warlock name Nymh get to 80 by solo grinding and win the spot...

i can hear Athere QQ like hell and being an emofags, well he come out sooner or later with fastest 0-80 character anyway (its obvious enough that faggot like him will try anything for 15 minutes of e-fame and epeen)

try lurking around... he did the same thing other MMORPG did... mindless no fun grinding of a same mob from 70-80.

okay here is how the dude does it, in grizzly hill there are a spot where there are a lvl 73 neutral mob (which is also undead if im not mistaken), the mob got around 7.9k hp and died rather easily, their spawn rate is kinda or rather fast right now (around 30 second) and Nymh just mindlessly grind those spot till he hit 80...

It's Korean MMO style baby!!

Yue thx for the info.

Well i agree with you guys, take it slow and enjoy the content. However i want to achieve my fishing achievement soon, and the fastest way is to get my lv first as i need the lv requirement before i can go into Dalaran (lv74 i believe).

May i ask, does your exp gain become lower the more people are in your party ?

Also for the lvl 73 neutral mob is there just 1 or a few ? If there many then i don't think there will be a problem of it becoming extinct biggrin.gif hehe.

mob tagging normally happen in an instance, one person tag mob(s) and leave the party, the rest of the party member then proceed by killing all those mobs before the 60 seconds bye bye period is over and reinvite that person, rinse and repeat...

By doing this, the person whose tagging the mob will get exp worth of 5 people, and its an elite...

saying that way is pure crap... there will always be casuals and hardcores
these people probably have already enjoyed the content during beta, and are now trying to get to 80 asap.
80 is just the beginning... as 70 was for tbc and 60 was before that, the faster you get to max level... the more time you get to prepare for end game content. you may say that person is not enjoying the game, but then again... he's the one raiding end game content... and you are stuck at what? level 75?

lets not be hypocritical and insult others' method of enjoying the game... to each their own.

If blizz allowed that, then it's no exploit. Very smart method I must say.

Benefits:

There will be other hardcore ppl who will level to 80 soon enough and group with you. They are usually good players so your instance runs won't be so wipey.

You can grind reputations and profession dailies. That means you get ahead on recipes and exalted items, and can sell them at crazy prices.

Being geared up early means you get to have a raid slot with dedicated raiding guilds, while the slower ones will be stuck as backups. This is important for tanks.

You can start grinding BG and wintergrasp earlier. Arenas start in less than a month, the early gear advantage can get you a serious headstart.

But... if you are a casual player who doesn't care about competitive arena or seeing Arthas, then ignore me! laugh.gif

well if you've been thinking the cost of the game, this game is originated from States, hence the up and low of the currency exchange have put this game into a "pricey" state.

A gamecard if buy from Australia cost merely RM80, which is RM40 each month. a normal p2p game like Lineage2 cost how much? RM38? is the real RM2 really make it pricey?
