Hi,

Can i play Guitar Hero equivalent games with Wii Classic Controller instead of the wireless guitar?

I'm thinking of purchasing one (Guitar Hero + Classic Controller)

Don't think you can.

You CAN however use the Wiimote, which sucks BIG TIME.

I've seen my friend play guitar hero demo on PS3 with his std controller so i figured it should be possible too.. no?

It's the Wii version, made entirely by a different developer. Vicarious Visions.

PS3 & 360 versions are done by .. uhh.. *search* Neversoft.

Added on November 14, 2008, 10:36 amPlus, Classic Controller is not a Wii standard. The Wiimote is. So I guess they just left it out.

I'll check, but u're right. It's horrid to attempt to play guitar hero like game with the Wiimote. The buttons are too small. and confusing with the nuckucks... so..

Trust me, it's HORRIBLE.

Here's the button placements, B, D-PAD down, A, 1, and 2. You require two hands, and again, the placement is horrid. If I recall, the placement doesn't even correspond with the correct colors.

No nunchuk involved.
