QUOTE(you90 @ Jul 18 2016, 03:51 PM) We can apply directly online? Huh the agent i talked to 5 mins ago told me only can apply Aus visa via agent, and they will charged us RM 50 for the visa. Guess if via agent still be a better deal? since if u convert currency 20 AUD = Rm 60 , hence RM 10 cheaper if via agent. Isn't it? depends on you. Hassle free for me directly apply thru online Agent ofcoz want to earn..sure say only can thru agent This post has been edited by BlackPen: Jul 18 2016, 03:53 PM

Hey guys, Planning to head to Perth for a 1 week vacation in Sept since there are some promos for airfare now. Some questions: - is September a suitable time to travel to Perth? - Is 7 days sufficient to spend at Perth? - which area do you suggest to stay? (looking for Airbnb), hotel / hostel might be ok as well as long as it's not too pricey - can I rely on public transport only? Or do I have to rent a car? Thanks in advance

Thanks in advance I can only answered some ;D 7 Days probably too much for me , IMHO , i got bored after 4-5 days , those shop close very early . You can rely on public transport , their bus are always arrived on the time sharp.

Its nice and chilly for me.. Are you planning to spend the whole week in perth city only or going to the north and/or south too? If you go outside city, then you will need to rent a car. If you're in the city, the public transport is good enough.

Yet to fully draft out my itinerary. But I do plan to go Rottnest for a day though. What's the best location to stay at? Fremantle?

What's the best location to stay at? Fremantle? For me, i went north up to the pinnacles and south down to Augusta. I also recommend to cover a day in Rottnest. I stayed in Leederville via airbnb. It's up to your budget, of course. But in perth CBD, the public transport is great and convenient (the bus and train times are in google map too!)
