hahahahah... that's the same feeling i had when the maharaja finally arrived.. because it's so much thicker than the normal mattresses, it made the mattress look absolutely huge! =) and then some more the bedsheet also can barely cover cause too thick... but i love the mattress...

initially it may feel a little hard, but it should get better as the latex foam on top should follow your body shape after a while.... =)

yea, i think he didn't give me a very good price just for the mattress, but i bought a dining table as well, so it was an overall round up price.
i think it is about RM16xx but includes 2 pillows and bolster. i was also too lazy/tired to go shop around anymore, as my time/petrol cost would just come to about the same.

over all i don't think speedy is cheap or expensive, just so so onli...service from the boss is okay, but the transporters could have been better...

i find it huge because i come from a single bed from my student days, which i'm still sleeping on since i have no king size bed sheets yet... guess have to go shopping this weekend. i'm also letting it air in my room as there is a new glue smell, not too sure from the bedframe or from the mattress

I like the feeling till now. The moment you sleep on it, you can feel the upper softer part supporting your whole body nicely and comfortably.

You feel a bit hard because it is a spine friendly mattress. If a mattress is not firm, it wont support your spine well. Just my 2cents. smile.gif

get dunlopillo latex mattresses. These are top quality product that my family has been using for years. My parent used them and now I am also using them. The kingsize mattress i am using now is 10 years old and still in perfect condition. I feel like wanna changing to new mattress just for the sake of getting something new but this old one just refuse to spoil. LOL guess i have to sleep with this thing for the rest of my life which I am perfectly fine with.

I agree as I have the same experience too while on business trip there. The mattress is not so firm, or it could be old mattress? sweat.gif

Went to Section 16 to scout for bed this evening w/ my dad ...
wanted to get my parent a new bed since we're moving sooo soon.
First we went to Bliss, tried serta regent .. the salesperson quoted us a King size RM4,890 ... + those freebie that claims worth 1.3K+ ... if we don't want the freebie we can opt for bedframe (divan + headboard) which after 70-90% discount is 8xx, in short, RM4,890 for full set king size serta regent.

then we went to next door Podez gallery... finally scouted King koil Maharaja ... tested and felt abit soft(?) & difficult to wake up from bed. The salesperson there quoted me RM1,900 for mattress only, full set @ RM2,880 (king size matress + casa italy leather (wth is this? felt like PU oli...) headboard + solid divan). Mattress price itself is abit higher than usual but fullset sounds okay.

Wondering if there's anyone using KK maharaja for YEARS here to share their experience .... cuz all the comments we saw here is new to few months, which usually bed giving problems in years.

lastly, beside bliss ... is there any place selling serta? RM4,890 is abit out of budget ledi ....

thanks

Harvey Norman also sells Serta but not cheap anyways. I think Bliss had a promotion a few weeks back which would have netted a discount of 10% IIRC. They have a promotion every 6 months or so if you are willing to wait.
