Nice.
Ok i think ill get stoicism. I mistook it for the 75 badge one.
it still looks uglier then the shat prot, but stat wise is very much superior for tank. Blame blizz for making good gear look ugly >-<; At least it's red and matches my pants :{

Icing do you think my gear is good enough for northrend instances ? or should i just respec back to retribution since it isn't as demanding as tank gear.
Also to level from lv 70 to 80, do you guys think i should stay protection for my main or should i respec to retribution first ?
I don't think dual spec will be available at WOTLK launch as it probably will be released in a patch like how the cool stuff like achievements were added into the game.

u need to get ur gem up. use +def gems and +stam try to use epic gems though for enchant use +stam and +def if possible. u really dont need to stack on spell power no more. if u're running oom, do like i do....always cast on seal of wisdom then use sanctuary

honestly , the first instance in northrend is probably designed for tank with green outland gears. its so freakin easy my party got bored on our second run and went to do quests. also, most quests in boorean tundra give ret gears so its prolly a good thing u spec to ret for quicker levelling.

Unfortunately i'm allergic to greens :{ I'll just do what i did when i was lv 60 pre bc epiced after a year absence. I'll just get to lv 80 with my epics and swap a bit with some blues with good stats. But skipping greens altogether Ok so Gems = defence rating. Enchants = stamina Got it This post has been edited by Moogle Stiltzkin: Nov 14 2008, 09:30 PM

dude is it just for lulz or you beating the hell out of people with 40dps fishing pole? lol
There are some decent lvl 73 BS crafted blues, and the BS crafted shield is jolly good too

Never underestimate greens. Although I'm not sure whether it holds through for paladins on having a semi-green TPS set for trash mobs like what it does for warrior. Someone else can confirm? Mind you, that semi-green TPS set will make healers harder.
There's a danger to referring to blogs i.e. the writer may not correct whatever he has put up. I remember reading one for a very long time, thinking that he's correct. Then when he put up a post about not being able to identify why his healing wasn't so good for a hardcore raiding guild and couldn't find out why in the WWS, I can see why I like reading his blog. His writing style is witty and interesting but when he couldn't see why his healing is bad and I could (from raid experience and sharing with guildies in our own runs), it made me rethink WoW Blogs.
Even WoWInsider.com may not always post the best info out there. You're better off with the forum stickies in EJ and Maintankadin but even then, everyone has their own theories. Some more correct than others.
At the end of the day, if you tank well, you tank well.
