cider is similar to crossover.they are both meant to play Windows games on Mac. Crossover is limited to less games than cider i think. I have crossover but not used at all (No games ) FYI;Crossover method for L4D is only through Steam at the moment, Not sure about cider but kalosneri seem to be able run it kalosneri, how much did u pay for cider?

QUOTE(rawn @ Feb 13 2009, 01:11 PM) ah that's even better. i have not heard of this cider and crossover before so thanks for the heads up! now all i need to do is to purchase crossover and the L4D cd. definitely a relief knowing now i do not have to install windows os on my mb just for L4D. As i mentioned above, As far as L4D is concerned, Crossover uses Steam account so you will need to purchase via Steam and not a physical disc. On the bright side, most games there are cheap. Especially the bundles (TF2 FTW) http://store.steampowered.com/Check out the other games supported by crossover http://www.codeweavers.com/products/cxgames/This post has been edited by pmsoo: Feb 13 2009, 02:37 PM
