u mean the two lines on the lower right of the image? i think that is a sensor crack due to the mis alignment of the sensor...there was an issue where a certain batch of M9 and M9-P had this problem...so when you send back the camera some even out of warranty they replace for free coz of the manufacturing defect...as long as u never drop ur camera or mishandled it...they will check and change the sesnor for free..may i know which batch ur camera is from ?

did he buy it brand new for u? u can bring it to leica store at star hill or avenue k and they will send your camera back to germany for repairs...but my cousin sent it in and he was informed that the repairs can only start somewhere in nov/dec coz leica had to order the sensor...but just send in early...that is my advise =)

yea my cousin's M9 had the same problem...most probably they will still replace it for free coz this is a known issue for a certain M9 and M9-P batches...so i guess urs belonged to that group...they will change it for free given that the camera was never dropped or mishandle...leica will open the camera and check the camera...if there are no signs of either it has been dropped or mishandled then they will proceed with the sensor change for free =) even out of warranty...that is what i was told =)

wait kitak kawan wandy nama didi ya ka?
