My MS got no tick ... 'cause wanna bring him out.. n afraid that ticks will stick to him while playing or walk on the grasses..... so wanted to do prevention lo...

daisy got skin disease ar..sigh...dunno wat to do...she hav dis before, last time da vet say bcoz she's hot inside da body, ask me giv her drink more water...now its been almost a month d..stil like dat...dunno wat to do...

alamak...cannot drink carbonated drinks

i think had to get Wilbur to vet

i'm thinkng to buy a bed to him, washable, anyone got any idea???

Mayb brng to another vet for advice lo...

i got Oscar liao! :D waited for him to wee wee and poo poo whole day but he didn't do it... in the end, after i put him into his crate to oi-oi baru he go poo poo and wee wee.. headache...

he's not used to it isit? giv him some days lar...let him get comfortable wif his new house and u...got pic of Oscar?

Bring to vet. Why still wait? What food are you currently feeding? Anything wrong with Happy?

Added on December 28, 2008, 1:16 amtick collar, can get from most Vet. Only works if you let him wear daily. But it is kinda poisonous. If your dog lick it, he will get sick. Do not let him wear if you intended to let him mix with other dogs. You do not want to harm other dogs!

Added on December 28, 2008, 1:19 amPls no other water other then drinking water for your dog, at no special purpose or unless directed by your vet.

A changes in diet ie: added wet food into his diet, or change another brand of kibbles will make him diarhea. Do not change the diet immediately, but to introduce slowly.

If you do not want to feed anymore wet food, stop the Cesar, keep him back to only kibbles diet. If he refuses to eat, try soak the kibbles.

its Daisy lar..not Happy...im feeding them blackwood...i add plain glucose in their water so she'll drink more..now getting better d..she's stil very active, so no big prob

I know its Daisy.. cause if skin problem highly will transfer to other dog. So ask you if Happy anything wrong. If nothing wrong with Happy, then maybe it is not skin problem. It maybe rashes, due to allergies/sensitives that only affects Daisy. Since no 2 dogs having same antibody.

Don't feed too much glucose, and best don't feed glucose without vet prescription always. Later high sugar in blood. Recently I just hear about a case with high blood sugar. This puppy was very weak. At first thought of feeding glucose because puppy is not eating. Luckily the vet did a glucose test, it is very high in sugar. Feed more glucose means... making it more weak. So they did salt drip.

Feeding very diluted glucose drink will cause dehydration to the dog= weak.

i've been around dogs since i was a child, grew up with 2 dobermans, 2 rottweilers and currently 2 GSD's. i'm a dog lover!

lately my gf and i. we've been discussing on getting a small dog. and i remember seeing my frens MS. and i think it looks really good and i've been searching on the net, the dog has good temperament. so i thought hey, why not a MS?

since i manage to find a MS thread here, thought that maybe i could get details like a reputable MS breeder in malaysia? i'm kinda skeptical abt getting dogs from pet shops. was hoping anyone here can point me into the right direction?

i got mine from linggene kennel. starhill kennel from penang is also have a good presense.

Before you go ahead and get yourself a miniature schnauzer, bear in mind this is a fairly high maintenance dog. They tend to be hyperactive and need to be exercised and given enough stimulation through adequate play time/ training, or they can get bored and this can lead to undesirable behaviour. Their coat is also requires a lot of maintenance. This entails grooming at least every other day to clear mats and tangles and to lift out dead undercoat, and the ears require a fair bit of attention in terms of plucking out hairs and cleaning. If you're going to maintain a clipped coat, this entails a trip to a professional groomer or a DIY job every 6-8 weeks.

no worries..... like i've mentioned, i have my fair share of experience handling dogs. not only a MS, but i believe all dogs requires alot of exercise else they tend to get destructive. i love dogs and i've always been a very responsible dog owner. i jog every evening with my GSD's and my gf. she can't handle my GSD's. so now with the MS, i think it'll be no problem for her. i have adequate compound in my house for him to run around and play. normal combing and grooming is not much of a problem...but as for clipping i think jason provides this service with very good pricing.

i believe the only task that is challenging for me is to house-train him as the MS will be inside my house most of the time.

House train should be no problem if you have patience...
