Hi guys,

I found a good deal from 0% installment but i have a few questions to ask:

1. is there any hidden fee such as process fee, etc? if yes, how much is it?
2. Let say I buy an item at RM6000 (6000/12 = RM500 monthly) and my credit limit is just RM5000, do I eligible for this purchase?

thanks in advance.
*
1. Call your bank to confirm
2. NO

do not be nice with Citibank CS.

you are consumer, you are KING.

dun wan waive ur annual fee? tell them go hell, n say u want to cancel card now, if un-able to waive the fee.
*
Same thing with me...they ask me to subscribe some autopay or something else but i say don wan..

Finally i say i wan to change my card (cashback) to Clear Card then they ok la..

Then i never use the card anymore when the new card reached my place.. Just use Maybank and UOB now tongue.gif

I don't mind such question actually. But definately not those "What's the best card?" That is just plain lazy I think.
*
There's no "best card" coz every person taste and requirements are different...

Anyway.....Im now thinking.

My main card is Maybankard coz i got savings account for easy repayment...
And i have another UOB One card for Petrol and occasionally GSC or Carrefour (if above RM100 to get the cashback else Maybankard for normal points)

Now, should i get the Maybank Petronas card and pump Petronas for 2x points? Or i should keep my current way?

Good news for people who took advantage of the MBB Carrefour cash rebate last year:

QUOTE
* Cash rebate is up to a maximum of RM50 per Cardmember per month only * Promotion is not applicable to Corporate Cards * No TreatsPoints will be awarded for purchases at Carrefour Hypermarkets during the promotion period

ROLFMAO...

Errr that will be RM2.50/month rebate?
And bear in mind, NO TREATSPOINTS will be awarded during the promotion month
LOLz Maybank is earning much more this way than conventional points system

I love fine prints

bro, it's the CASH REBATE of Maximum RM50. which is equivalent to purchase of good value RM1,000 from Carrefour.
does it matter? YES. for existing MBB user.  tongue.gif

finaly push for CNY. if buy RM500 from Carrefour, ie, 5 catoon of beer, it's around RM500 already, cash rebate already RM25.

Hi, what do u all think about Alliance you:nique card?

Do u think the personalized card picture is a very unique proposition?

I mean.....it's the first picture card in the country......and they do have some programs like 9% interest rate, or 2x rewards points or up to 2% cash back......but they don't seem to have any good tie ups with any merchants...

do u think this card has any "flash value"? Other than getting a nice picture on your card - do u all think that this card has any spending proposition to it?

Let's discuss.
*
Not really unique coz Citibank already did it 10 years ago, although its just a a picture of your IC/Passport photograph.

And it costs u RM38 for putting your picture on the card.

Hi,
Hmmm.... Same case happen to me no matter I apply on line or at their brach.
Rejected no matter what documents I submitted. doh.gif
After few times rejection,I complaint to 1 of the branch manager and get some info from him regarding PBB cc.
They hav an internal criteria which a person who already hold cc for more than 6 issuers they will declined ur application. Due to holding too many cc. I dun know if it is true but I think it should be the reason my application rejected. rclxub.gif

The branch manager promised will forward my case to the head of card centre for appeal but not guaranteed approval. Hope to get his reply soon.

Anyone got idea or can help for PBB cc??? notworthy.gif I'll buy best dinner if anyone can help!!! notworthy.gif
*
Yup coz the more cards u own, the more liability u have...

certain bank allowed that but they will charge u some percentage processing fee and it is not gurantee approved.so just call up to maybank cs to ask for that

QUOTE(hye @ Jan 22 2009, 06:27 PM)
Hang on! Just to give you the right information ... MBB does not have this facility. (A few threads back, a forummer got into trouble for this wrong information) This is only available via CIMB/DA (Mastercard only) iPay facility.
*
Never heard such facility for Maybank...

Anyway, u can try to do balance transfer that will lower the interest rate and also installment plan..
Its just like u applying a new credit card from other bank, and then "transfer" your balance to that new credit card.
Which actually means the new bank would pay your existing bank the money and charge u on their own bank.
