No need. Just call up the bank ASAP and report to them that you lost your card or your card was stolen. So that they'll freeze that account

As said by kons , just make noise. Usually , they'll just waive it after making noise !

agreed.

Well, my personal opinion is that I do not agree with the categorization that you are using. The banks don't use it, you miss certain cards and there are serious flaws about the way that you categorize it. (At least in my personal opinion) I suggest that you search through all the banks websites, understand their cc offerings and make an analysis from there.

I'm not too enthusiatic about doing your homework for you but I think I have given you some hints. Good luck!
*
agreed.

just go visit every bank website and list down....

from there, can see the category, and figure out the target market.

Prestige Platinum Card is a membership card for Shangri La hotel F & B and rooms discount card. If you are holding Amex Platinum CC from Maybank , the membership for Prestige Platinum are complimentary and by right they will not contact you for enrolment, cause they will issue you the card in 3 weeks time after you get hold your Amex Plat CC.

FYI , Visa card issued by Maybank does not come with the membership.

oh... that's how my ex-colleague got this card.

This is the reason why I reject the Zing card. It makes no sense for me to pay the extra RM2 per transaction.

Infact, I travel to KL Sentral almost daily to go work and I can just top up at the LRT counter or TnG centre... there is no need to waste rm2 x 2 monthly... as I spend almost rm100 per month
*
it's cost n benefits lo...

not every 1 is like you, can just top up at LRT counter or TnG centre.

if tht person feel RM2 can save him so much of hassle, he is glad to get it...

otherwise.. will be just like you.

UOB ONE VISA gives 0.3% on all transactions.
BHP Petrol 2%..

anyway, for Giant, Tesco, Carrefour have 2% rebate on the transactions but if not mistaken is subject to min spending of rm100.

HSBC Amanah provides 0.5% rebate to all transactions right?
*
you right.

what are you trying to tell us?

i vaguely remembered they asking me about gold/classic thing thru the phone.
i said 'watever'

The picture quality is quite good. Oh well, mine was an abstract wallpaper 'cropped' image. So.. how bad can it turn out?
*
aiduh... doh.gif

when you applied the card, why still care whether it's classic o gold? you applied bcoz of the design of card, the promotion offered and etc etc...

since ur card is "picutred" did not show sliver or gold to others...

i thinks u shd concern on ur Credit Limits...

YOU:NIQUE card is something like co-brand card , no classic, gold or platinum

Apply b4 31st march no charges on the picture card, after 31stmarch Rm38 will be charge into next month statement
*
let's waits n see what will happen after 31 march.
now recession, most people will not spend $ just to get the CC, since others is FOC. perhaps, certain target consumer thinks different.

QUOTE(boonsin23 @ Feb 5 2009, 11:27 PM)
bcos i see their min requirement is rm18k p.a. so i guess shd be classic card lo tongue.gif

Added on February 5, 2009, 11:42 pm

you got exactly voucher(s) with the numbers you swiped?
*
yes. as im only swipe 8 times... and found it hard to swipe more.

btw, on other matter.

past few days, im trying to pay my UK professional fees online using my Direct Access but the transaction is shown: authorisation failure.

called the DA customer service centre, and they said thet got problem with the merchant, tht's why can not process and ask me to try again later.

and today im try again and it's shown the same message. called up again and still give the same excuses, worse, the CS is suggesting to me that to pay my fee manually, by sending my credit card info via email to my professional body in UK...

WTF, who got such time n energy to do so.

fed up with DA, and thinks of my HSBC.

1st time tried HSBC also showing the authorisation fail message. call up HSBC customer service and he is checking for me.

he said the authorisation failed is bcoz im paying to foregin merchant and it's not in their list, that's why it prompt them to reject it. since im called in, it's verified that it's genuine, and he checked with security dept and ask them to authorise my payment.

after 5-10 minutes, i try to pay use my HSBC and it's DONE.

really dissapointed with DA...
