I wonder does MBB MC and Visa wave annual fee can be wave or not ?

I don't see any benefit on visa wave except for touch n go facility. besides, it doesn't give any reward point or treat point as well
*
The TP or reward point is the same as conventional Visa. RM 1 spent = 1 TP

It is up to the MBB merchants if they want to offer 0% installment plan for their products. There is no such thing where the consumer converts their purchases to easy installments using their MBB cards.

I received this SMS on 12th December which says,

"Happy Holiday! Just for U,get 10% rebate up to RM50 (per customer per month) on every RM100 spent with your HSBC credit card. Valid 1Dec08-28Feb09. T&C apply."

I call up their CS, & confirm that was true.

Petrol rebate is up to 31 Dec 2008... not sure if DA will extend it since petrol is now only RM1.80 (rebate started when petrol was at RM2.70)

I got two cards with Visa Wave feature.

1. MBB Visa with Visa Wave (Black colour)
2. MBB Petronas Visa with Visa Paywave

Both also got TP.

You spend on petrol only, aren't you? If that's the case, no TP is awarded for petrol transactions.

HSBC MC Premier is open for application at other country in Asia Pacific.

But in Malaysia, u hav to place 200k(to be their Premier Account holder) in the bank in order to qualify for this MC. grumble.gif grumble.gif

Maybe HSBC Malaysia will open application for public soon.

Any comment for this HSBC MC?????

Nothing special except no annual fees and high CL - mine's RM40k. HSBC staff will try to convince you that it's better than plat, but you don't ever find any special offers for premiere while there are always offers for plat like one-for-one business class air tix.

The 200K deposit in local currency is still a requirement according to their websites, eg SG and AU. Where makes you think that's not the case? hmm.gif

Call CS and ask them to cancel credit shield plus. You may be asked to write in.

hi, i dont know if this is the best place to ask for recommendation, but can some1 recommend a card that suit my needs?

1. petrol rebate
2. purchase rebates (cash back?)
3. points reward

i dont need things like free vouchers/coupons that will only serve to tempt me to spend more on unnecessary things.

will probably use the card for petrol, grocery, bills, and maybe the occasional high end meals. i dont have the habit of going on shopping sprees too.

Well, I think there is no card that can offer the best for all that you needs. You need to hold multiple cards to enjoy the most.

I applied Citibank CC via an agent early of this month.
2 weeks ago, got one Withheld number called me, saying tat was from Citibank and wanna verify my house phone. I din fill my house phone when filling the form, so i just tell them my house phone but they said it was not correct. Seems like someone filled for me or wat???
Last week, i got another phone call(with number), claimed that was from Citibank, asking my annual income.
How come these weird thing will happen? Ain't they got my details correctly as wat i filled?
And until today I still havent got my card. Heard Citibank CC will get within 3 weeks right? After this week I oreli wait for more than 3 weeks.
Any advice?
