yea u need some time to get used to it.

i was thinking of buying the Boomslang at first, but i'm a Copperhead user, therefore not really that practical for me.

better save up for Mamba drool.gif

errr, may i ask, if you're a Copperhead user, which is more targeted for Claw Grip user, will the Mamba be practical for you ? cause Mamba is still targeted for Palm Grip user which is like the DeathAdder...

I'm still thinking to get the Copperhead or Diamondback 3G, I'm a fingertip user, so Mamba / DeathAdder don't fits me unfortunately.
Copperhead using Laser while Diamondback 3G is the Optical, I has feel the mouse, 2 mouse good but more in Diamondback 3G.
Can anyone give some recommendation ?

Added on January 17, 2009, 10:01 pmAnyone use the Diamondback 3G ?
I would like to know, the Button at the thumb,
will you accidently press it while moving the mouse or playing games ?
Cause I move my mouse using my Thumb & 4th fingers, never use palm.

Thanks.

I use the Lachesis now, and I have used the Copperhead for 2 years prior to that. I use palm grip though, so I can't really comment about claw grip.

The Copperhead is a great mouse, I still keep it as my spare mouse. I've never really agreed with the Diamondback's shape, I think it's a bit too small.

Copperhead's laser sensor is really good. I used it at 2000dpi and max sensitivity, and it was just flawless. Mind you though, you'll need a hard gaming surface for it to work at its best. I used the Exactmat with it.

Why don't you consider the Lachesis? I think it is a good step up from the Copperhead, it looks much better, the side buttons are easier to press, is has 2 extra buttons below the scroll wheel, and feels more comfortable. The sensor is better too. Don't read too much into the 4000dpi thingy, you'll rarely use it at that high settings, but it is good to know you can do it if you want to. For me I use 2000/3000/4000dpi depending on the game, and 2000dpi for normal use. I works best with the Destructor mat. Trust me it's worth it.

Razer side buttons are not that sensitive, I don't think anybody presses them by accident while moving the mouse. If anything, they're a bit too hard to press. With the Copperhead, whenever i use the side buttons, I'd accidentally move my mouse i lil bit (doesn't happen with the Lachesis). No real biggie though.

Wow, I got another choice, the Lachesis, very attractive though. Thanks for the recommendation. icon_rolleyes.gif

I don't really fussy about those additional functions like, DPI, extra buttons, because nowadays gaming mouse is alrd very good to me.
My MOST concern is the Ergonomic for moving / holding my mouse. Many Mouse marketed is suited for Palm Grip user, but less for finger grip user (i think). hmm.gif

I just bought a RM300 mouse for 3 weeks, now I'm really regretted because of this ONE disadvantage, it's for PALM GRIP ! vmad.gif
No wonder I cannot get use to its mouse shape, too ergonomic for Palm Grip. Then I only go Internet checking what's the real problem i'm facing. I've found the culprit.
Before this, I never knowledged about these Palm/Finger/Claw Grip that is applicable to a computer user, now I only realise this, it's really affected me so badly sweat.gif

So, before i go out & buy, can i have more Comments on these "Diamondback 3G" , "Copperhead" , "Lachesis" after hearing my stories wink.gif

Thank in advance. biggrin.gif

Can anyone suggest any other mouse SHAPE that may looks like Razer Copperhead & it must be WIRELESS.

Other functions (eg. DPI / Sensor) not important.

Thanks in advance.

Mate, as far as wireless gaming mouse goes, there are only 3 choices - Razer Mamba, Logitech G7, and Microsoft Sidewinder X8.

Of the 3, I think only the Sidewinder X8 is suitable for claw grip users (I'm guessing here, I'm not one). The Mamba resembles the DeathAdder, which is designed for palm grip users. The G7, which I had sampled before I bought the Copperhead, also felt like it was designed for Palm grip.

Thanks Pal,

I checked the 3 models, I think mostly fits more to Palm user.
Sadly Mamba is not Ergonomic ambidextrous design, otherwise I'll wait for it. cry.gif

sweat.gif I think I need go for the Wired, the Copperhead, hope Razer come up with a Good Wireless Mouse specially for Fingetip user fast. ( shakehead.gif Can Razer hear me !?)

No prob =).

Haha I have a Copperhead Anarchy Red, which I think is the best looking one out of the 3. But then again that's just me, and my favourite colour is red. I would love a red Lachesis, but it wasn't available yet when I bought mine (Phantom White).

How come you're not considering the Lachesis though?

Up to you bro, it's your choice. Which ever one you pick, you'll still end up with a fantastic tool for gaming. Enjoy.

My mind also think Red is cool & nice. However my Gigabyte 3D Aurora casing has Blue Front Panel & Blue LED inside with grill.

I got consider the Lachesis, I went all the shops at low yat, not a single demo set i can find, only can find a Copperhead & Diamondback Demo. sweat.gif
I really need to touch it before I decides to buy it. (my hands too fussy tongue.gif )

(can someone let me feel it brows.gif )

Do you have any good Lachesis review links for me to read through ? Thanks.

Added on January 18, 2009, 10:53 pmit seem Razer Laser type of mice recommend Destructor pad.

It's too big for my desk. I chk Goliathus has the smallest size available, Razer didn't recommend this for Copperhead or Lachesis, can I use this ? blush.gif

Goliathus has Speed & Control Edition, what's the main real difference in practical usage ? Which one you use ? blink.gif

Is there any other Brand has small size length (~250-270mm) gaming mouse pad ? icon_question.gif

just notice the Destructor price is almost double of Goliathus. rclxub.gif

If I use Destructor, I think I gonna put 20% area of my Keyboard space ONTO the Destructor. Feel weird looks rclxub.gif

I don't really need the case, it raise the price instead. (got OEM without case ? brows.gif )

got other brand with materials like the Destructor ?
