m-100 / moray is good enough for its price.

QUOTE(i_love_japan @ Jan 21 2009, 10:55 AM) Copperhead should be good for u. thats cos he got no budget.hmm, for earphone, why wanna get Razer instead of any other brand? there are lots of variety for u to choose for which is much better than Razer's earphone in the market. u could ask in Audiophiles Section if u would like to get a earphone other than Razer. and razer earphones at the price is as good or better than whatever else around the same price of RM90-100. |

actually, everytime i hear the words gaming headset...
i think, sounds like shit for music with crappy highs and extra mids. some exceptions are like siberia neckband or razer piranha. so the razer moray dont really fall under gaming, cos they sound better for music. but since its razer, and their target crowd are gamers, they just say its for gaming also. anyway, for gaming...almost anything branded can work...but not many have good mic. |

QUOTE(Loreki @ Jan 27 2009, 09:43 AM) I think the Boomslang CE is paying tribute to the old ballmouse Boomslang, that's why it commands such a high price lol. For the nostalgic feeling QUOTE(igor87 @ Jan 27 2009, 12:41 PM) Yup, and that alone more than makes up for its high price. wat high price? The new Mamba though, is the 'hybrid' thing really going to be worth $130? last PC FAIR was selling at RM288, that was only just slightly more than the lachesis. |

QUOTE(igor87 @ Jan 27 2009, 04:29 PM) Well yeah, but when you compare its specs to the Lachesis, it's a lil expensive isn't it? Apart from the Razer Synapse, it's pretty much similar to the Deathadder, which is RM100 cheaper. my hand didnt agree to it at first either. It's certainly worth it though. The design is a timeless classic, not to mention the packaging, which is to die for. I would have bought it instead of the Lachesis if my hand had agreed to its shape. Unfortunately it didn't =(. took me 1-2 weeks before i could get back to my normal fragging style. after that, other mouses just felt like toys cos they were too light. QUOTE(giggsyy @ Jan 27 2009, 09:15 PM) No odd sound for my Makos...maybe everdying can talk about his...if his oso dun make any odd sound..then u better send for RMA.. i dunno wat odd sound also.i would assume its some buzzing which would mean his power supply is 'dirty'. Added on January 28, 2009, 12:10 am QUOTE(igor87 @ Jan 27 2009, 11:31 PM) dunno if OEM or not.i know razer singapore has sold stuff without boxes and all cos i bought from them before. but if hes not getting it from razer, then i dunno. QUOTE(Lacus @ Jan 28 2009, 01:28 AM) im sure it has the logo and all, just no box.but its only about RM40 cheaper than outside, but of cos without the box and less 1yr warranty. also if u think about it...a one yr old used razer mouse w/ 1yr warranty left also would be about the same price, so unless ur real fussy and want brand new but without box, then go for it This post has been edited by Everdying: Jan 28 2009, 01:43 AM |

QUOTE(Clavicus @ Jan 28 2009, 06:52 PM) Why would the keys on the mirror not fade? Just asking here, not challenging you. The one they had it PCFair.. might as well rename it Greasemirror. cos if u look properly, the keys look like the regular rubber coated lycosa which they put a very thin coating / cover over it.so it glosses and also protects the key etching underneath. |

QUOTE(keanoppy @ Jan 29 2009, 07:37 AM) did i mention anywhere that the coating over it is rubber?Added on January 29, 2009, 1:45 pm QUOTE(phoenixxx @ Jan 29 2009, 10:42 AM) I suggest you google around before you spew YOUR bullshit around and make yourself look like a complete fool. razer's reply will always be...cos there are so many buying the keyboard, the small percentage of ppl with problems will seem like alot of ppl if they all start complaining. im not saying the keyboard has no problems, but to say even more than 10% of buyers have problems is hard to believe. QUOTE(phoenixxx @ Jan 29 2009, 02:38 PM) Here's something you may want to read up on before you buy: actually im pretty aware of some of the probs.-disco light problem -non-functioning, random keys -problematic touch panel -lights that are brighter on one side of the keyboard -audio port not working -loud static noise when plugging in the audio port -mic port not working -usb port not detecting certain brands of pen drive but like the lights being brighter on one side, isnt that a common 'problem' on most backlighted ones? my saitek and dktboard have the same 'problem'. and the loud static noise? i thought if u plug into or remove any audio device without turning down the volume u will get static? while the touch panel problem has been around since original lycosa usb port? that one is weird.
