im having problem here.... i cant oc higher than 3.2ghz... -athlon 64x2 6000 windsor -ASUS M3A -kingston value ram PC6400 is it my mobo holding me back? or the ram? or both? and whenever i set the bus speed to 250mhz, my pc will fail to post..
ive tried 214mhz*15multiplier and oso 229mhz*14multiplier... both oso cant...
my mobo cant support bus speed at 250mhz and above... once reach that my pc will fail to post... so, wat's the most reason for my failure in oc to 3.2ghz?

im having problem here.. the stress test on ram can never pass on 3.22GHz.. ive tried 230x14 and 215x15... the thing is i jz change my ram to hyperx 1066mhz,but i cannot set the speed at 1066 in bios as it stated that it is to big for windows or something like that.. b4 that, ive set the memory speed to 500mhz at lower core speed, it has no problem... and wat can i do to get rid of this problem? QUOTE(xixo_12 @ Nov 28 2008, 06:31 AM) @sheenho there is a lot of factor u need to put as the consideration, maybe u already reach the mobo limitation, heat is the main factor, try to cooling the important area first, remember, your is 6000+, the TDP is quite high, i'm afraid your board can't handle it well. one more, different capability of proc, play the important role. u can't expect u have same achievement with others, third, u can rely on luck if u already considered the two factor above thx alot.. i have a clearer idea now.. cooling the important area means the the mobo chipset? for the cpu cooler im using asus silent square evo.. is it not good enuf? wat does different capability of proc means? sori still noob..
