QUOTE(blackenthesoul @ Nov 12 2008, 01:43 AM) just thought i would post my AMD 4000+ results and see if anyone has any ideas on how i could either push the CPU further or maybe some sweet ram timing ive not yet found. [attachmentid=668079] will upload advanced screen dump of voltages and speeds etc if needed. find how high ur proc can go first. |

QUOTE(blackenthesoul @ Nov 12 2008, 06:49 PM) have done this, my amd 4000+ can max out at 327Mhz fsb, but its getting the correct multi and also keeping the ram within reason. my rig really doesnt like the half multi's 9.5 10.5 etc, also not sure if higher multi's are just not available on my board or maybe becuase its not an unlocked black edition, so im left with fsb clock and ram. nope unlocked multi oni for black edition proci have also lowered my htt divider to x5 to keep things steady. not bcoz of ur mobo...since it dont like 9.5 or 10.5 multi then set to 10 or 11...butmp up sum vcore oso |

QUOTE(blackenthesoul @ Nov 12 2008, 11:56 PM) 10 seems to be my highest whole number multi that i can select but i seem to be very unstable anywhere above 300x10, even though i have booted into O/S at 3.25ghz but not sure if ram timings, CPU/chipset voltages or htlink multi are holding me back? at the moment i am at 1500mhz htlink - but this is very stable unlike my old board which anything over 1000mhz would just bsod. bro how bout u post up some screeniehave tried using 1.47v vcore but doesnt like it much, do u think that it could be a missed timing on the rams side of things or just needs another bump in vcore to get it to where it needs to be? easier for people to help u...btw as i told u b4 if u woried bout rams limiting u back, dun o'c the ram first...loosen the timing and use the lowest divider possible try to see how high cn ur proc goes...try bump up the vcore until u find dat sweet max point for it...and btw 1.47 oredi kinda high make sure u got sufficient cooling |

@ najmods - use the latest cpu-z...urs old version...cannot read vcore properly
@ eezzad - try lowering ur ram divider and try not to use the XX.5 divider sum might have prob calculating ram speed later use round up such as 11 or 10 |
