MSI 790GX = rm330.
biostar 128M = rm350. yeah browsing XS forum to see reviews on the board. actually ok la compared to biostar. now need to try oc and see.. last k9a2 board cannot boot at all. i think too much oc tweaking here n there . first can boot, then 5 minutes, shut down. then sometimes during boot will show "warning! overclocking excedeed something something" when i already set it to default. last2 RMA the board n bought the 790gx. now my friend want a 9500 oc to 3.0. i say cannot. he say can. get ready for another rma. |

QUOTE(ah_khoo @ Nov 26 2008, 03:20 PM) if his heatpipe cooler was taken out, what cooler he's usin now? wah already voiding warranty so soon. d stock nb cooler is kinda sucks... it's just a piece of metal, d fins are not soldered onto that cooler. they are additional part that being screwed on d cooler... u can really tame d heat of chipset with just a piece of metal, even w/ d additional screwed fins wont help much. a proper coolin is needed when oc is involved. @ mruzian, we'll know by this weekend. i'll use diff nb & mosfet cooler (hopefully my cheapo cm nb cooler can fit). for this moment, i blame it to d mosfets for causin high temp @ nb... |
