Hi guys,

I'm a N00b when it comes to solving technical problems with software hardware. Hope I could find some answers here.

I'm currently using Windows XP 64 Bit. Lately I find that it has been acting weird. Firstly, I seem to have lost access as an "administrator" to open up my Task Manager. My search function, control panel access had disappeared from my Start bar. I can't right click on the task bar and so on and so forth.

My suspicion is that my computer have been hacked or there are some viruses in it that my AVG scanner isn't detecting . What worries me is that when I checked my system information , the computer is no longer registered under my name but to the moniker "Live and Let Die". Also, there seem to be an extra user acct that I don't remember setting up.
Oh, my internet connection has greatly slow down since I discovered the problems.

Any help or solutions from the tech gurus here will be much appreciated. Thank you!!

backup ur important files,

then format the HDD.
