From my experience when ordering stuff above a certain amount from the online store for the first time, Apple will need to verify your identity as well even if the CC company do not.

So what happens is, you might expect a call from Apple Singapore on Monday to confirm your purchase, and they may ask you to scan or fax the CC statement over to them for verification before they make the charge to your CC.

Not the statement showing the purchase lar, but your latest CC statement that shows your Name, CC Number and Address

if this is your first purchase from the online store, then you can expect a phone call from SG to verify your identity. You'll then need to scan your CC bill showing your CC Number, your name and address and email or fax it to them, then the order will be confirmed.
