OMG.I just bought mini dvi to dvi cable from machines 2 days ago with RM89,online buying just RM69~!

Not true. I bought mine under Edu discount last year and they never asked for any verification (I am a student in SG so even if they ask for student matric card I can still show them).

I don't think they will ask for your student ID upon delivery coz the product will be delivered by external courier. You don't expect DHL or FedEx to check your ID, do you?

Just buy under Edu discount regardless you're a student or not haha.

Been hunting around in Low Yat and only some stores carry the same model but without FW connection and selling at RM580. Machines also not carrying this....

anyone have other ways to contact apple malaysia besides the stupid hotline, as i need to do a refund, i've calling for a fews days, but i can only listen to music on the line.

i don't know if mine is an isolated case but my new macbook has just arrived and until now they have not contacted me to verify my educational status. when i spoke to them on the hotline they told me that they will contact me by email and then i will have to send them a copy of my staff card. anyways just enjoying my new laptop now

i ordered a CTO macbook last week, and now on my shipping status, the item had been delivered to Japan and it has been received by some one in tokyo?!

and now i can't even just get through to the freaking hotline, just listening to songs only, anyone have their direct line? i'm kinda pissed though.

if its really my mb in tokyo, i'm so gonna screw apple nicely cuz this mac is supposed to be for christmas.
