(not to encourage abusing) actually it doesn't really matter which apple id or credit card you use for purchasing. all you need to do is to confirm your status on the education section and you are good to go. So far there isn't any verification required yet. we trust apple. apple trust us. it's that simple. as me myself, i'm not a student, but a part time university lecturer at thailand.

Just received my new MBP!!! It's fantastic! Screen is awesome. Next thing to do is upgrade my HD to Seagate Momentus 500G, 7200 RPM and 4G Ram. It took only 2 days to reach me. Good job Apple.
