If I were a Apple Reseller, I'd look very long and hard at the implications of an Apple Online Store in Malaysia. Apart from the obvious advantage of split interest-free (or otherwise) payments, resellers have to offer much more to ensure that they do not lose too many customers to the online store. I'd especially target the switcher and emphasize the importance of customer-service to my staff.

I'm presuming Apple will soon pull the plug on education pricing on the Malaysian Online Apple Store. The way they've got it set up now and given the mentality of the Malaysian public, it's going to be abused.

So if you're planning get an education discount (whether or not you deserve it), I'd do it fast if I were you....
