AppStore Malaysia only sell applications,which can be bought using a local creditcard, we dont have an actual Itunes Store that sells music,video,audiobook content yet.

Secondly:
Itunes giftcard is only valid if you have an US itunes account, if you have the account you can goto ebay and buy the giftcard and redeem at your account control page under itunes.

Thirdly:
No1 here sells the itunes gift card you should ask in garage sales.

you of all people should know not to abuse the system man, plus wanna get 2 MBP summoe proves you can afford the RRP,if you are hard pressed for money also get MB white onlylah. Students like me who dont earn much should be worried about money unlike you who has a stable job, with a solid financial stature that could afford 2 MBPs. Just because Apple Store doesnt check thats doesnt mean all of us should abuse it. Btw you havent gotten the mac since last year?

this is whats gonna trouble those students like myself,have to send enrollment letter,photostat student iD,photostat iC, then they have to call the IPTA or IPTS for double verification,sigh its gonna be a tough thing to deal especially the longer timeframe as its not gonna be instantaneous. The reason why its called an education discount is in light of us paying so much for college especially those in IPTS, i personally have to spend almost the equivalent of the high end MBP 15, twice a year that isnt cheap!

machines is a reseller, buys from apple(supplier) sells back to customer. Apple online store(supplier),obviously has more stock then a reseller,even if they ran out of stock they can get more from mainland.

the reduced price is way cheaper compared to the edu price when the model was still current,happy hunting normally this high end mbps are a steal,i'd doubt you can find any.

hmm i wonder how they do this when the owner(you) have to verify via the uptodate site for the SL upgrade.make sure its not a burned copy or something.

lol unless you pay triple for working on holidays i dont see anyone will be tempted to work today haha

if im not a student i wouldnt wanna a discount, its meant for deserving people,college fees aint cheap you know lol if i count properly i could have owned at least 5 entry level mac pros! thus far hehe, another 2 more mac pros to go lol before graduation.

yep though pricing change every year, seems to be increasing anually man i should plan on getting an edu fund for me kids now at this rate lol

why not get it from UK Edu store since its waaaaay cheaper? why insist on the Malaysian store, log in from your UK edu campus and enjoy your privelage.

it differs from one country to another by 200-300 bucks thats fro retail price but the UK's edu price is the lowest so far,even our forummers here bought from there when they were studying there,awesome deal.

i believe if he is gonna study in the UK, he should already have a local address?
