If I were a Apple Reseller, I'd look very long and hard at the implications of an Apple Online Store in Malaysia. Apart from the obvious advantage of split interest-free (or otherwise) payments, resellers have to offer much more to ensure that they do not lose too many customers to the online store. I'd especially target the switcher and emphasize the importance of customer-service to my staff.

so the reseller in order to compete with online store, free one pariah sleeve, one capdase keyboard protector and a few DVDs

yeah.. mine was in australia, they used TNT.. i changed mind of getting the 2.53ghz MBP instead of my CTO 2.4ghz MBP at about 1-2pm on thursday, 2 weeks ago... and on friday, the next day the MBP arrived at 11am+ at my doorstep.. damn good..

Anyway, for those stay in KL, buy from store should be better since can touch the thing 1st and get enough explanation from salesperson..

well, normally apple will ship from local warehouse if there is a stock but if there are not enough they will ship directly from china. Fresh from factory
