haha yeah as i mentioned b4....my laptop failed on me for few days...i cant access my laptop where the windows kept on popping up warning...so i have no choice to get it before Mid Sept...

Should i say im lucky or unlucky hahah... but is okie at least i get the use my Mac to do my work for pass few days...and hence for upgrading although it cost abit but still able to tolerate with RM39 instead of RM390!

Anyway might give Machines a call n check it out whether any free upgrade but i doubt so coz i ask b4 when im buying that time

That's because you're comparing KeyStudio 49 and Keystudio 49i...

KeyStudio 49 is just a midi controller that sells originally for $129.95, which is most likely discontinued, while the 49i is a midi controller with an integrated audio interface, going for $299.95, over here selling at RM 1106. Midi controllers with integrated audio interfaces rarely go below RM1K in the market, unless it's a used unit.

I've a question; assuming we make our purchase from the Apple Online Store on 1st September; and it's shipped out on 3rd September and we receive it 5th September.

When does our warranty period start? 1st/3rd/5th September?!

Another thing - I accidentally logged in and placed my order via my @mac.com account, of which is not active; my mistake! Now, I'm trying to get the email address of mine changed but apparently it can't be done online and I'd been on hold for like the last 18 minutes! !#$%&*

I think I finally found the link to update the email; well at least for this particular shipping Wil just remember NOT to ever use this Apple ID again!

From my experience, it's the 3rd...

But then again you can always check the serial number on the Apple Support Site.... unless it's something other than Apple... The packing slip or order invoice should indicate the date of purchase...

hmm. i got a call from apple yesterday asking for the cc statement. i faxed it to them this morning but they didnt update anything. only sent them a mail that i have sent it to them just now. lol. hope can get it this week. *prays hard* XD

I'm kinda waiting for Apple to call but I've absolutely NO idea how I'm gonna fax them me CC statement because I no longer have it; I think I trashed it.

I did however receive a call from Standard Chartered to confirm the purchase.

Ordered urs already? When is it due to arrive? Mine will be arriving at my doorstep on the 3rd September ... currently shipping from Shanghai to KL. Will prolly be here tomorrow already, but DHL need to sort out the kinks with teh Customs ... so yeah ... 3rd sounds reasonable ...

Yup.. placed my order this afternoon. I haven't been keeping tabs with the shipment but at check out it did say 3-8 September. Also, since this is my 1st purchase with Apple Online Store, I think they're gonna haf to call me to verify my Credit Card information.

Mine probably ships out from Singapore since I didn't customise my unit. I hope it'll be here Fri then I can have the long weekend to set it up *smiles*

gah.. i've sent them the faxed copy and e-mailed them my dad's bank statement but have yet to get any answer or confirmation from them. Called their so call customer service line 1800-806-447, line always busy ask me to go on hold. i left the phone for 30 mins and picked it up still busy. .. tempted to cancel the order and just get it from the store straight. any advise guys?

oOPs.. I actually missed your post till now. I do get monthly statements; otherwise how to make payment except muAHahAHhaHA I was clearing me desk and just threw them all away last week so I don't have it; the onli thing I can show is the actual Credit Card but well it's a good thing Apple didn't call to ask for proof

Also, I ordered the 2.53GHz, 13" MBP.

Er.. keep holding on; I'm sure someone will attend to you I also think your order's not being processed because it got stuck somewhere down the 'verify payment' or something process.

I confirmed with Apple the warranty will start from its shipping date.

Yup... just like mine.... shipped on the 13th, arrived on the 15th... Warranty expires on July 13th 2010...

Mine was shipped off this evening; I received the email @ 4.26PM. Hopefully I get it tomorrow but if I don't I'll get it Fri and tadah will use the long weekend to set it up *smiles*

*needs to remind herself to bring home Adobe CS3 Suite from office on Fri*
