Well if its encoded in Pro logic II , its able to carry additional 'hidden' data , whereby the Pro Logic II decoder sees it and then phase shifts and outputs to surround sound. It doesn't carry dedicated channel for each of the speakers though

Wrong

MKV is just the container. You may even put a low-res divx video inside as well !
