Quoted frm http://aceraspirerevo.com/
Acer told Pocket-Link that the base package would have a Linux (Ubuntu) version with 1GB of RAM and 8GB solid-state-drive for £149.99, equivalent to $220 U.S dollars. Windows Vista will be packaged with 2GB of RAM and a 160GB Hard Drive and will go for £249.99, $367 U.S dollars.

btw, better to discuss there as this thread is for WD TV media Player ler...

At this moment, yes. Because a lot of the China media player that my brought, the PQ worse than WDTV HD.

But we must monitor other media player that launch by some big company like Asus. Hopefully there will be a good media player that sell below RM 1k.  rclxms.gif

Dvico is too expensive.   doh.gif

yup, that is true, other brands may have more features but the PQ is not as good, the WDTV PQ is just excellence.
WDTV is consider the cheapest media player with sigma chipset.

the unit is just warm, just like other electrical appliances, so it is normal no? i doubt cooling is needed unless it hangs due to overheating and drawing current from usb will make the unit getting hotter...
