Import tax will be imposed if the value exceeds RM500, and how does gst work? Do you have any prove to back up this claim?

let's say product invoice RM400, freight/shipping cost RM200.

Is it taxable?

As far as I know shipping cost will be calculated, they will use the total cost(product cost + shipping) as the final price of whether the package will be taxed or not.

if that is true, isn't that wrong accounting? how can one be taxed more if it shipped far away?

let's say you import to sell, and your company get tax another round again on income tax.

This is what happened when seller didnt list the shipping cost in the invoice. Then Kastam will ask the shipper how much and get quoted ridiculous price.

safer to put remark as free shipping? or they dont believe?
