Thanks bro kherel77, that's a bicycle.
How to clarify that its consider as "RACING BICYCLE" or "OTHER THAN ABOVE"? Or where can I see the code?

Thanks again.

As long as it is a road bike

A bicycle with drop bars

They will classified under racing bike

Friends have purchased bikes from overseas and only paid the 6% gst
Cheers!

Hello thinking of getting sneakers from abroad...

The import duty rate for importing sneaker into Malaysia is 0% , the import GST is 6%, when classified under Shoes & Footwear → Men | sports footwear & sneakers → Sneakers, Trainers & Athletic Shoes with Rubber Upper with HS commodity code 6402.99.000

So for casual sneakers is this the right code?

If so it'll be great Haha

Thanks!

Dear all

Recently I bought a shoe from overseas and it came with free shipping

What I dont understand was the customs assumed the shipping price and put rm380 as from the picture below...

Can I argue with FEDEX and asked them to return my taxable amount?

The shoes costs only at RM390

Haha even if you added the wheels they could tell the difference between an rb and mtb..

Btw the cheapest option for you would be sending it to Singapore.. Pay the 7% and go collect it by car
