Hi fellow sifus here, got a question regarding custom duty. My item imported from US after conversion to RM791.30 (with invoice) and I was slapped with a 30% importy duty. But there's a statement there stating items of value below RM800 are exempted.
Can I dispute it? How should I do it? Please help...

Problem is I appointed Pos Malaysia to clear the item, and they are now charging me the import duty+GST+clearance handling fee. Dealing with Pos Malaysia staff is really hell. In this case, can I bypass Pos Malaysia and clear the item myself at KLIA using this form from Kastam? |
