Hi...

i bought a Planet Wave cable about 1 month plus ago...
the Classic series 1... without circuit breaker... the box is brown color 1...
price about 48rm if im not mistaken...

few days ago, i plugged into my bass amp... then no response at all... not even buzzing sound... jz totally no sound at all...
then i tried to plug my Ibanez cable which i normally used for my guitar to the bass...
it worked perfectly...

then i tried to plug the Planet Wave cable to my guitar, no response too...

izit the cable spoilt already?
but i only bought it for like 1 month plus...
does it come with warranty?

well they shud be warranty..
where did u buy it from???

usually i get this...when i drop then end cable too many times....
changed/ accidently steal (lol) cables too many times oredi

i bought it from Bentley Damansara...

the prob is i lost the receipt...
do u think it is still possible to claim w/o the receipt?

owhh....i dont know...u can give it a try..
but without a receipt..its going to be tough....
receipt is an important document...

thats why! never expected that it will spoil juz in 1 month plus...

even my pariah stock cable i used up to more than half a year...

hey man i bought it last time too before. i think there is some break in the cable somewhere because sometimes i can get a signal, and sometimes nothing.

sucks rite planet waves. i never bothered about them after that cable. didnt care much. made my own cables after that

the only planet waves i have is my guitar strap..
how in the world u make ur own cables?

saru88: well, if they dont want to replace it if you lost the receipt, heres an idea. buy a new same exact cable. use the new receipt, and claim for replacement for your old cable. at least you'll get two functioning cable at the cost of two instead of none at the cost of one. ive done so many times and not just for cables. just make sure the thing does not have a serial no, or specific no for it.

btw, nimrod2, u had the some problem with PW cable as well?
damn, i never knew it will be so sucky 1...
cuz PW is quite a reputable brand too...

possible with a soldering iron, some duct tape and steady hands .

i got one defective guitar cable too. cap ayam one. so I cut it into pieces and turn into several patch cables instead. saves me about rm24.
