i made it..i never bought him the plastic thing...so i made it for him....coz i though in the shop they sleep on noting...and flor is cold...then i saw some on the net that we can use cloth hide outs...so i made one for him before even buying him...   and i let him play with my blanky for few hours...coz he likes it so much...

i'm buying my 18 and 16 years old sisters a guinea pig this saturday when i go back to penang, i've list down everything in page 1 (Necessities include list).

1. how should i choose a guinea pig?
2. Fair price ? Can only choose the short hair breed as i don't think both of my sis are hardwoking enough to comb GP's fur everyday.
3. Should i start with a male, or a female GP?
4. Besides the necessities list, what else should i pay attention to?
5. how do i know if its a young GP? don't want old or adult liao de. (like erm compare with when u hold with ur hand?i'm a girl.)

is RM 200 enough for all the things including the GP?

Got headache cos my house is so packed n no where to put my GP. unless i put it in my room, but issit appropriate? One thing i concern is my mum doesnt like pet stay indoor so much but she can tolerate wif some conditions; every night my GP can go indoors and sleep in d house.

Morning: in their large outdoor cage.
Evening: in their open cage at our garden.
Night: a med size cage in d living room.

But since Lisa is under my strict observation, she's been in d house for 2 weeks n her outdoor cage is abandoned temporary. The two GPs at our balcony since we cant tolerate with their poo's smell.

Anyway, how do u guys potty train to poo n pee in d 'toilet'? i need to potty train those 2 new GPs or else d floor gonna be real big mess....

I think it will be a debatable thing whether to house them inside or out. But by the looks of Juz's cages they look safe.. but i still will worry about the predators. I remember you telling me about that wild monkey rite Juz? About whether conditions if that is how far your porch is.. then definetly wont kena the rain.. or direct sunlight. But then again i would still prefer them to be housed inside.. leaving the house.. i know for sure they will be safe..

noted. but my cage is high, under d trees shade, so its not exposed to the sun actually. n its not as wad u seen in d pic, its fully covered wif bathroom mat, even the wall oso  altho i wanted to bring into indoor so much, but my house is too small wif many family members. for me d current medium size cage 4 d indoor use is kinda too small for my big GP.

i fed my piggies twice per day, 7am and 7pm, now they are use to the time ade, and become my alarm clock on 7am
