I deworm my GPs by myself. I bought the liquid at Petshack with advise from our GP thread starter Sharil. Its around rm15-18 (forgot la) and i think the brand is Trojan or something (.... sweat.gif .........let me take a look at the bottle back at home n will reconfirm to you the brand name) The bottle is white n red color, got picture of dog n cat, and its in meat flavor. yeah at first i got worried if this is suitable for GPs but there is instruction to deworm GP at the back of the bottle. I give my gp 0.5 ml per dose, n the dose is given in schedule stated at the bottle (refer dosage for guinea pig) the deworm time are week1, week2, week4, week 12, 1st month, 3rd month, and then every 6months. My gps just got their 12th week deworming, and the liquid still got plenty more. hope this helps smile.gif

um i got one question, how to trim GP's teeth? I once read from this forum tht Juztiny trim her GP's teeth after bath, can you share on how to do that? my Nao's teeth looks a bit long than it should be...i'm afraid it'll bring complications if i let it be... icon_question.gif

Hi kaoru, my Jingle also pregnant and her due date is within these 2 weeks also. As per advice from Dr.Jenny better dont move her to another place coz it might stress her. you may provide big hiding house so that she can deliver inside the hiding house and it helps to reduce stress also but must monitor her when ever we can.

I even taking Dr.Jenny's phone's number so that in case any emergency needed (choi...choi...choi...touch wood) i can call her for operation. Now day in Hand n Paws have the facilities for operation for delivere baby for animal.

Not worries and we must cheer them and believe them can do it thumbup.gif

Hi Feon, my sister and her bf scolding me of cutting Jasper hair until so urgy leh....these photos taken after i cut his hair.

Better don't bring any of her housemate into her cage.  She would be protective and more stress when she give birth.  You could put her housemate in another cage next to her cage if you really scare she would feel lonely in  your room.

Even after giving birth, also cannot mix the SOW and its babies with other GPs until the babies are fully grown (one month old).  The SOW will be protective over its babies, will sure attack other GPs, and causing more stress to the babies too.  After all, the SOW and babies' diet are different, more alfafa hay which is not so suitable for other full grown GPs, so cannot mix them in the same cage.

i see...thank you very much for ur advise....i will do as you said. hopefully yui will be comfortable enough for her 1st pregnancy.

Ermmm are u refering to LC-VIT Forte Syrup? If it is.. blink.gif it is to give your GP more appetite to eat laugh.gif Will ask sharil what deworm meds he gives..

about the teeth trimming.... i think you should leave it.. Routine tooth trimming is not necessary and may interfere with your piggies ability to eat. The biting, chewing and grinding of food [especially hays & grasses] will normally keep the teeth at the proper length. Also the length will vary from one piggie to another.. so dont worry about it too much.

i see, thanks sugarcoatedcandy-san~! um no its not forte syrup, it is a deworm liquid, totally different. try asking pet shack, they know about it since i bought it from there oso happy.gif
