christine, did u check in between ricky's toes? any redness or infection? r his paw pads clean - fur shaven? Do u notice when he usually licks his paws?

i have checked with my vet b4 coz milo has this habit too...he taught me to check btw his toes and if everything is ok, means he did it becoz he was bored. i think in milo's case, it is becoz he is really bored coz when we wanna sleep but he is not sleepy yet, he will pass time by licking his hands n feet. soemtimes lick until so wet, i had to blow dry him. and it will cause yellow stains too.

what do u do when u see him biting? do u discipline him? i have heard a testimony from another forum member that each time her gal licks the paws, she will brush the fur there. becoz her gal hates brushing, she will remember not to bite/lick the feet anymore.

a partner ah? actually i got milo a partner but he did not receive her with open arms. he got so jealous and started to bully the female. how old is ricky now? if he is too young, it is not suitable to intro another member so soon to him.

i made a mistake...i got the female b4 milo finished all 3 vaccines so even when i have the female, they have to be separated in different rooms. i dont think having a partner will help this problem so much coz eventually, ricky will have his own quiet time and he will remember his bad habit again (eg: when the female is sleeping and he is bored).

have u tried giving her bitter gourd? hehe...later no mosquitoes will bite her liao...

ahh...true true...milo has this problem too..shit, milo got so many probs b4...

yeast infection like got red red spots on the outer ear part...will not be the normal colour...but got cream to sapu...

yeah...milo's left ear since young extra dirty...but no mites after 2-3 check ups. Then lastly only confirmed yeast infection coz turned red liao. supposed to sapu cream twice a day but i lazy so just apply for him at nite for 3 days nia...i'm a lazy mummy...


Christine, i dunno the name of the cream...got it from vet...u have to make sure it's yeast infection 1st before simply applying medication. Later no yeast also got yeast liao.

christine, ur vet just said not ear mites but no other explanation la?

Added on November 26, 2008, 3:43 pmold ppl say eat more bitter gourd, no nyamuk bite de...abt the durian issue, i dun rber i heard or read from where. So to be safe and becoz i cant eat durians, milo oso no chance to eat.

My parents' place is just opp NZX ma. actually, i need to bring milo to vet tmw coz milo's mouth more busuk than smelly tofu.

Ah Chuan & Sinv, i saw the exact balls at Pets Icon selling for rm8.90 got one. Nowadays baby toys oso become dog toys liao...hehehe

Quite lasting wo...until today milo hasnt broken it into half and bite the bell yet.

Ohhh..Ah Chuan, i dont let milo play the ball at nite coz the bell sound very scary esp middle of the nite....ooooooOOOOOoOOOoOOoo

u know those smaller plastic balls with holes and small bells inside? selling for rm1 plus that type? milo lup to break them into half and just bite the cups. So i named this toy 'Cup Cup'. For the big balls, i called them 'Long Long' becoz of the bell sound.

Added on November 27, 2008, 11:22 pmbrandy barks outside ah? my milo sit at the edge of my bed and bark at one direction in the middle of the nite...it happened during the Ghost Month too...we would sit up and ask him what happened. Then he looked at us then back to that direction n barked again.

i dunno abt other dogs but milo will retrieve his toys when i throw far away but he wont bring them back to me. He would keep them to himself. So selfish!!! Then when it is bed time, he will remember to bring his toys to the bedroom from the living room. He would pick them up one by one according to whichever name i called out first. Example : "Milo take Ball Ball!", Milo, where's Men Men?" "Milo, Long Long leh?"

milo's freshly-groomed pics...lighting not so good...that's why his chest looks wide. But the fairer colour on his body is real as each time after grooming will look fairer de. Will go back to ori colour after 2-3 days.

Milo did it for rm80...this time w/o extra charge for de-matting. Previous 2 times, i paid rm30 more for his tangled hair esp on his chest and behind ears. Very diff to brush him coz he lies down during bathing and grooming - like no backbone. So this time before grooming, i spent 1.5 hours brushing him. COz hubby sponsoring the cost so i die die oso must make sure his fur not matted - must not exceed rm80

STandard price for full grooming for our small breed is rm80. Well..there there other shops which have promotions and give cheaper prices but u need to observe how their groomers work 1st. LIke in Aseanpuppy in Cheras, they have 20% discount on weekdays. So for milo, it would be rm64. At first, i was also very attracted to the price and the catalogue of poodle cutting styles they showed me but after seeing how their groomers handled the dogs there, i immediately got put off liao.

Ricky is goin for basic or full grooming? Has he seen the vet?

Added on November 28, 2008, 11:24 amhere, his legs look longer looo..coz his groomer did corrective grooming for him - used cutting skills to cover up his weakness; in this case would be his short legs.

SPA ah? hehe...enjoyla Ricky...Milo will have his free SPA next yr coz after 5 times full grooming will free 1 spa. Last nite so cute, his groomer asked me if milo will be DOWNGRADED once my baby is out? Then i said yalor...at least he wont be sleeping with us anymore...dunno if he will suffer from depression or not...
