hi frens,

my hardisk just crashed few days ago and its has so a few early bad sector when i tried to recover my old data using GetDataBack recovery software.

The recovery process took nearly 20 hours to recover 60GB of data.
I am just wondering why all my recovered data are unreadable? images, word docs, exe files etc.
All the sizes and file names are intact, just that cant view the files.

Do anyone know why the files unreadable? any known or great recovery software that anyone can reccomend?
if there a way to recovery data using diffrent methods?

it is logic if partial recovered data are unreadable because of bad sector, but should not be ALL the data since most of the sector are normal and fine

U can recover the files?
Do u overwrite ur hd?When u recovering, do not use same parition.
I use recuva to recover my deleted files.
It works and states whether the files have been overwrited or not.
